Chapter 14

"These girls should really chill."

I was holding my ears in an attempt to block out the screeching squeals from the group of girls across the class while Lia and Jeongin looked at them with a funny disgusted face. No avail though, they were so loud I could see the birds who were sitting peacefully outside the window near them had to leave.

"And you know what, he looked at me!"

Another round of squeals.

"Oh my lord, my ears are going to bleed." I squeaked out as I faked a cry.

The pain was real though.

"Good morning, class. Everyone sit down."

"Finally!" Jeongin whimpered.

Indeed, lectures were far better.

'Triiiing'

There's the cue for students to go wild. Immediately grabbing their books, everyone began rushing out of the class with their friends.

"I am hungry." I patted my stomach as it roared for food. I couldn't find my socks today morning and ended up being late so I forgot to have breakfast.

"Let's go then!" Lia cheered as we grabbed our books and headed towards our lockers.

It was oddly crowded.

"Did Spider-Man come to visit our school or something?" I mumbled as we three tried to push past the students to reach our lockers. "I am going straight towards Seungmin hyung's class after this." Jeongin uttered.

"What is happening here?" Lia mumbled as we stared at the scene ahead.

Felix was surrounded by a group of boys who were strangely too interested in being friends with him and the crowd was just drama. Students either taking a good look at the handsome transfer student or waiting for their turn to interact with him.

"C'mon, let's have lunch together and get to know each other yeah?"

"Thank you, but I already have plans." Felix politely smiled at them though he clearly felt uncomfortable. He hurriedly put his books in his locker.

Saying he was uncomfortable because of the number of people staring at him would be an understatement. Putting back our books inside our lockers, Lia and I left the scene without Jeongin to walk towards Seungmin and Jisung's class since he said he will 'save' Felix first.

I am proud of our baby bread.

We were munching on our food as Jeongin approached us.

"He's not coming?" Jisung asked while Seungmin was handing him the food we kept aside for him.

"He was able to save himself from the crowd which was very impressive. I guess he has experience. He did tag along with me and wanted to join us but guess who took him away?" He began digging in as Lia rolled her eyes.

"Sora, huh." I sputtered as I picked on my food.

Jisung scoffed. "Today in computer class the teacher asked her to help him with the subject and explain him the syllabus patterns and stuff. I guess she took this as a chance to steal him during lunch."

Few minutes later I stood up, unable to finish my food. "I am full. Also I will go get a painkiller from the nurse room, I have a head ache. I guess I didn't have good sleep."

I am a horrible liar.

I smiled at them so that they don't worry. They nodded as I walked out.

Walking towards the schoolyard where I usually go to when I feel low, I sat on of the benches. Eyeing the ground, I was kicking the small stones as I sighed, closing my eyes.

Why is it always her?

I fiddled with my fingers as I let out a bitter chuckle.

Why am I letting it bother me so much.

I was too distracted in getting caught up in my train of thoughts to the point I didn't notice a pair of feet slowly walking towards me.

Until a deep voice interrupted the mini war inside my brain.

"Hey."

I almost fell off the bench as my heart jumped out of my chest.
