Chapter 8

'Ting'

"Who the fu-"

Blinking my eyes open, I looked around as I woke up from my half-way-asleep slumber.

Sprawled over the sofa, I lifted my head as I looked around. Popcorns were splattered all over the ground as the tv was still playing the movie we were watching. Jisung was softly snoring as he was slumped across the sofa with his legs dangling off the edge and his head on Lia's thigh whose head was on my shoulder and she too, was knocked out.

Carefully lifting Lia's head and making sure she wasn't sleeping in a position that might result in cramps, I stood up and tiptoed out of the living room before fetching some blankets for them.

Tucking them in their blankets, I smiled over how cozy they looked while sleeping. Switching off the tv, I picked up my phone which was on the table near the sofa to check who had messaged.

11:07 PM.

1 unread message.

Oh it's not that late yet.

I unlocked the device before opening my inbox.

Unknown: Hey, Felix here :)

My heart did a bungee jump as I realized I forgot that he was supposed to text. After saving his number in my contacts, I opened his chat as I contemplated over how to reply.

Should I just drop a 'hi' and insert the website link?

Wait, no. That's too rush-y.

Okay, why am I even thinking so hard about this?

Me: hi felix, you're awake?

*sent*

Seems good, seems good.

As I was about to go to brush my teeth, my phone went off as it signaled a new notification. My heart picked up its pace, and I opened my phone again.

Felix: Haha yep, I sleep a lil late. What about you?

I walked to my bed before plopping myself on it as I typed.

Me: I was watching a movie with my friends.

Not liking the way butterflies were fluttering in my stomach, I tried to end the conversation.

Me: Oh, here's the website link for your friend. *inserts link* I hope this comes useful. I gotta sleep now, good night! :)

Yeeting my phone away after I clicked 'send', I screamed into my pillow.

I did not like the way this guy had a strange effect on me.

I don't want to catch feelings.

*The next morning*

Felix: Oh yeah, sure! Thanks for the link! Sweet dreams :)

I stared at the message for a while before dragging myself to the bathroom to brush my teeth and do the usual morning routine.

He messaged for the link only right? I think I shouldn't reply.....right?

I let out a groan as I rinsed my mouth before stepping out to get ready for school.

"Seungminieeee, I missed you!"

I ran to him, giving him a big bear hug while Jeongin jumped on his back and ruffled his fluffy hair.

"Aigooo, I missed you guys too! Where's Jisung?"

"Oh he is-"

"SEUNGMIN-AAAHH!!"

"Lol there he is."

Seungmin's eyes widened in fright as Jisung was running towards us at the speed of lightning while I immediately backed away.

Meanwhile poor Jeongin didn't get enough time to get off his back as Jisung literally crashed against them (while Jisung labeled it his 'special mighty hug') and I stood few feet away in my safe zone laughing as I watched Seungmin and Jeongin live in Spain where the S is silent. Students who were passing by gave them weird looks before going back to their own business while Lia came into the scene with a soda in her hand.

"Wow, what did I miss?"

"LIAAAA!!!" Jisung exclaimed as he was getting up to attack Lia next.

"Lia I think you should run."

Letting out a shriek, she sped off, running through the hallways not knowing why exactly she was running from Jisung while he chased her while laughing.

Oh how much do I love these four idiots.

"Turn to page 143"

Lia let out a yawn as Jeongin was eagerly waiting for the bell to ring, while me being the good student I am, happily flipped to the mentioned page.

Kidding.

I did pay attention though since I wanted to get good grades.

'Triiiinggg'

"FINALLY!" Jeongin exclaimed as Lia and I laughed, gathering our belongings for our next class, which was with Jisung and Seungmin's. We three left the class, as we walked to our lockers and grabbed our math books. As we turned around to walk to our next class, Jisung popped out of nowhere and grabbed my hand before rushing towards god knows where, as Jeongin and Lia followed behind.

"Yah, Han Jisung! Where are you taking me? You're kinda freaking us out."

"Look, I know there are millions of people around earth with the same name but,"

He paused as we reached his class's door, and he lifted his hand as he pointed towards something, or rather someone.

"is that, the same Felix you told us about? the library stranger?"

My jaw fell to the floor, along with Jeongin and Lia as we stared at the blonde sitting in all his glory and flipping the pages of his book in peace, completely oblivious to the thunderstruck people at the door.
