Chapter 17

Poor guy was literally trapped under Seungmin and Jeongin's hold as the puppy's arm was around the blondie's neck while Jeongin's arm was intertwined with his.

"H-hi?"

"That's not how you welcome your friend, Yuri." Seungmin smiled at me, completely contrasting the glare he was secretly shooting. And on the other hand, Jeongin was trying to hold back from laughing.

Startled, I made space for them as I motioned them to get in.

"Yeah, sorry, come in!" I closed the door before walking to the table to sit beside Lia who seemed very happy seeing Felix as she nudged into the side of my waist with a creepy smile. I held her arms signalling her to stop whilst glaring at her.

After the storage room incident at school, I was successful in avoiding him as I left school earlier than anyone else making up an excuse that I had to go buy groceries to cook lunch.

Which Jisung had got me busted saying he bought groceries the previous day, but let's not talk about how I pretended not to hear him as I escaped. Today was a weekend day, and I was thanking the universe that I didn't have to go to school and face Felix.

Fate decided to not let things go my way though.

What a snake.

Jisung sprinted towards Felix as he gave him a bro hug as they greeted each other, eyes bright.

Since when did they become so close?

"Jeongin and I met him on the street. He said he was leaving after meeting a friend who lives here." Seungmin explained and the rest went 'Ohh' as they nodded.

"That's good! I am glad you brought him. This can be our first hang out!" Lia cheered and Felix smiled at the warm welcome.

"I thought you didn't have any friends here?" I squinted my eyes at him while Seungmin went to make a call. He widened his eyes as he shook his head.

"I wasn't lying! Minho, the friend I told you about, he has moved already. It will take time for him to get used to the new city and organizing his stuff like I had to but he's here."

Ooooh.

"He can join us then?" I offered as everyone agreed. His eyes light up at that.

"We can?"

I smiled. "Why not? Now go, bring him!" I ushered for him to go and he left with quick steps.

Let's just have a good time.

Seungmin was the one to open the door after he was done with the call, previously confused where Felix had disappeared off to while Jisung and I were in the kitchen preparing some snacks since everyone was here, also two unexpected guests. Felix was introducing Minho to everyone as I heard the chatter in the living room. After taking the snacks we were preparing to the table, we walked to the living room. My eyebrows rose as I saw the new face in the room I assumed was Minho.

Perfect example of two pretty best friends.

Standing in a white sweater and black jeans, silky brown hair shined on the top of his head with some of them covering his forehead and his symmetrical eyes were topped with lashes that were longer than mine. I was definitely not jealous. Totally not.

Meanwhile Jisung beside me widened his eyes.

I will definitely question him later.

Minho noticed me approaching them before nearing Felix to whisper something to which the latter laughed nervously before smacking him in the back.

Huh? Do I look weird? Is there something on my face?

I shook away my thoughts, stretching a smile at the new face in the room. "Hi, I am Yuri. It's nice to meet you! Felix has told me a lot about you." I shook his hand. "Oh, haha, he did? Well, he talked a lot about you too." He smiled quite widely.

The way he emphasized the 'a lot' made me blink thrice.

"I am Minho. And thank you so much for your help!"

I smiled at him. "No worries!"

Seungmin piped in. "I am assuming you live around here?" Minho chuckled. "I actually live downstairs, thanks to Yuri who helped me by suggesting to check out the apartments in this building. I moved here today morning."

"Ohh, so wait." Seungmin looked at Jisung who seemed to desperately signal him to not utter whatever he was going to say.

"Is he the really good looking guy you were talking about in class that you saw at the building today?"

Jisung was about to collapse out of embarrassment.

So that's the reason Jisung was shocked to see him.

"What are you talking about?" He laughed the most obvious fake laugh as he 'playfully' hit Seungmin a little too hard.

That's when I noticed Minho smiling as he looked at Jisung.

Oh I see some tea brewing.
