*One week later*
"I can't wait for the next holidays already. Classes are so. friking. annoying!" Jeongin exclaimed as I walked between him and Jisung towards the lockers amidst the noisy chatter and gossip of streaming flow of students, everyone done with classes for the day.
"They are. But you know what's more annoying? Seeing a group of makeup-caked-faced girls doing the agonized dolphin screech every once in a while talking about boys. For real how can a person talk about boys all day?! And they are so damn loud!" I shivered, remembering their ear-deafening squeals.
"Girl, at least they don't crowd towards you while screaming like that. Why don't they understand that I'm not interested in girls?" Jisung shook his head in disappointment.
"I feel bad for you, Jisung. Damn, it feels incomplete without those two here."
"I know right. You two will be meeting Lia at work today I guess. She won't skip work too, as far as I know." Jisung stated.
"Yeah, since that one time she got scolded by the manager, she is never absent at work. Even if war strikes." Jeongin joked.
I laughed as I put back my books in my locker while they did the same a couple lockers away, and we walked out the school together.

Throwing my bag off my shoulder the moment I got home, I wasted no time in getting a shower and preparing for work, while Jisung plopped himself on the sofa and switched on the tv.
Jisung was a year senior with Seungmin, our adorable puppy faced friend, while Jeongin, my another adorable friend (who is so cute sometimes that I can't resist squishing his face and shower him with love) is in the same class as me along with Lia, the sunshine of our group, whose playful aura never fails to make us smile. Jisung is the whiny friend among us, the person who has been with me through thick and thin since middle school. He loves to annoy us a lot, but always the first one to be the shield when it comes to protecting us.
Seungmin is the sweetest person I know, also the back bone of our group, who always looks out for us and the brother I never had. Jeongin is the baby of the group, and the most pure hearted person I ever met, (but joins Jisung during roasting us) and his smile never fails to deliver a dose of instant serotonin boost.
Thankfully we often sat in the same room for math and science classes, and every time the four of us got together, classes seemed to light up for me. I didn't have friends other than these four in school as the girls in my class were mostly the typical plastic girls who do nothing else other than indulging themselves into men-drama.
Jeongin, Lia and I work in the same café, Lia was the first person to work there, later introducing us two when we were searching for jobs and we ended up working in the same café, making work so much less boring.
Drying and tying my brown hair into a ponytail, I put on a white shirt and black jeans before grabbing my bag and set stride for the café.

3rd Person POV
The aroma of freshly baked cakes as well as coffee being ground put together was something she never got tired of despite being there every week.
"How's ma girl doin?" Lia asked as she saw Yuri wearing their work uniform, a beige long apron, and a cap, while Jeongin skipped towards us as he just entered.
"I am doing okay. School was boring without you two but here you are to make my day bearable." Lia dramatically put her hands above her heart. "Now that made my day. How's Jisung?"
"Yo, Lia, ask me too how I'm doing? I exist too you know?" Jeongin interrupted as Yuri chuckled, "Jisung's on his way to another failed blind date."
Lia laughed at that, before turning towards Jeongin to greet him as she petted his head.
"Hello Jeonginie, how's ma baby bread doin?" Jeongin cheerfully greeted her back as he smiled his little eye smile with his eyes turning into crescents, then speeded away for work.
Yuri walked to the customer at a table, smiling down at her. "Good Afternoon, what would you like to order today?" The lady grinned and told her the order. Yuri received her payment with a polite smile before getting to work on making her frappuccino.
"How's Seungmin doing? I am guessing you both were absent today at school because of his shifting?"
Lia was tapping down on the cash register with expertise as she answered Yuri who was done serving the table lady. Meanwhile Jeongin was trapped waiting a table of high school juniors who were gushing over his cute face.
"He's good. And yeah I was helping him with the shifting. He's happy that he moved out as he can now freely invite Jeongin and their group to crash at his place for hanging in. On the other hand mom is getting accustomed to living without him in the house while I am waiting for her to get used to it so I can move out too."
Lia served the customer at the counter before proceeding to help Yuri with cleaning and setting up the coffee machines. Yuri was about to speak up, before the bell at the café's door jingled, signaling a new customer's arrival.
"You can go serve them while Jeongin and I can set these babies up." Lia said as she continued with Jeongin joining her while Yuri turned around to greet the new customer.
"Good after-"
She stopped.
So did her breathing.
The greeting didn't take place as her eyes bulged out of her skull at the sight of the library boy she never expected to meet again so soon.
