Chapter 11

Classmate of Jisung and Seungmin. Felix too, now.

A girl we despise from the bottom of our hearts.

But a major section of the boys in school like for god knows what.

Long hair curled around the ends, bright red tinted lips, (that unnecessarily pouted more than a hundred times on a daily average) and her skirt higher than it's supposed to be. As much is she sexy and pretty on the outside, is she ugly on the inside. Sweet-talking to boys, leading them on, getting every boy twirling around her fingers is what she does for pleasure and satisfaction.

Entertainment, even.

And why we hate her?

When Lia and Seungmin were new students in this school during freshman year, Seungmin became very popular in a short time because of his sweet personality and his cute appearance.

Lia however, never disclosed the fact that he is her brother, as she knew girls would probably bother her to get close to him. Sora started hating Lia when she noticed her catching the attention of many boys as Lia herself is very pretty with her full cheeks, plump lips, doe eyes over her smooth milky skin and her thin frame. So when Sora and her friends saw her with him, Sora fumed with anger, as she previously kept flirting with Seungmin but he never showed interest and politely rejected her every time.

Feeling threatened that Lia was replacing her position as the eye candy of the school, one morning when there were no students around, Sora pushed Lia near the staircase resulting in Lia getting injured. Thankfully Lia somehow stopped herself from falling all the way down the stairs by grabbing the steel railing of the staircase in between the tumble, and she saved herself from getting any broken bones although the fall did give her a twisted ankle and wounds here and there.

After the incident, when Lia confronted her about it, Sora played innocent with fake tears streaming down her cheeks, making a scene and causing a whole crowd. Of course, no one believed Lia as she had no proof, and also because of the 'perfect girl image' Sora had. Jisung was so ready to teach her a lesson when Lia told us about it after we became friends.

Sora walked into the area, flashing her pearl white teeth towards every boy she met as her minions followed close by.

"Damn, it's quite impressive how her sight never fails to disturb my eyes."

Jeongin laughed at my remark "I agree. I wish she was the human form of the blind spot." They snickered while Jisung and Seungmin approached us with trays of food.

"Screw her, let's eat!" Jisung squealed as we all dug in.

Then I stopped when I noticed someone struggling few benches away.

Felix was currently sitting alone at a table trying to eat in peace, which was quite difficult as girls often surrounded him and invaded his space, trying to invite him to sit with them.

When the heck did he enter?

He was politely turning down their offers, and he looked very uncomfortable.

Jisung stared at the girls with a disgusted face. "Sheesh, let the poor boy eat in peace, what the hell."

Alright, I will not tolerate this.

"Jeongin, go invite him to sit with us. Tell him I am inviting him."

I didn't go myself because I knew if everyone sees him accepting my invitation and not theirs, yeah, everything is going to go haywire. Thankfully Sora had left before Felix came in because she would definitely make the poor guy regret coming to the canteen.

Jeongin stood up before walking towards him and whispering in his ear. Felix's ears seemed to perk up like a bunny as he shifted his eyes to look at me. I looked away.

Though it was awkward, I did not regret it.

But what I didn't do was think about the fact that I have to face him after avoiding him the whole day.

Felix grabbed his tray before slowly walking towards us as Lia put her hand on my shoulder. "Talk to him normally, its fine since we have boys too here." I slightly nodded, picking at my food.

Felix sat down, a small smile gracing his features. Jisung shot a wide smile at him, making sure he felt comfortable.

"Hello! My name is Jisung, Yuri's best friend and lifeline." I looked at him a raised eyebrow, letting out a disbelieved laugh while Felix heartily smiled at the interaction.

"Oh heyy! Yuri told me about you once. It's nice to meet you. My name is Felix."

"Haaii, we met before but I didn't get to introduce myself! My name's Lia."

"Me too! I am Jeongin. It's so nice to know that you are in the same school with us!"

Felix's heart warmed seeing how adorable he looked.

"I am really glad you feel that way, I'm hoping everyone feels the same..."

Then he looked at me.

CRAP.

Seungmin nervously laughed, before cutting into our little stare game.

"Hey, I am Seungmin. Yuri has told us a lot about you and it's nice to finally meet you!"

Felix's eyes seemed to light up a little at that.

"Oh she did? I hope it wasn't anything bad haha."

Furrowing my eyebrows, I picked at my food as I murmured "Why would I talk about you in a bad way?"

Felix was about to speak up before Lia interrupted.

"Oh, trust me. It was far from bad stuff. It was totally good stuff."

Someone's going to get beat today.

Stepping on her foot under the table, I lifted my head to see his reaction.

He seemed..... surprised?

Why though.

Jisung piped in, striking up a conversation as they all chatted and had a good time together, laughing and sharing the same energy, and I smiled seeing him looking genuinely happy spending time with us.

I wonder what the future awaits.
