The next day, we prepared ourselves for the activities that were going to be held for the day. Students were divided into six groups, and each group was given different sets of clothes of colors according to their group name.

"Paintball fight woohoo!" Lia jumped with enthusiasm.

Her energy never fails to surprise me.

"Who the hell came up with the idea of playing gunball above a damn mountain?" I grumbled as I wore the blue shirt.

Lia laughed, tying her into a ponytail. "We are going trekking tomorrow, be prepared sis."

"We are going what?! I am out, I hope I get sick or something by tonight." I complained, tieing my shoelaces.

"I know you will have fun anyways." Lia chuckled.

"It's all because of having some very precious friends."

~~~~~~~~
"Whichever team member or members doesn't get shot till the end, is the winner. The winning team members will get to sleep in the best tents, which will have heaters, mattresses, and wide spaces. And the winner, who survives till the end without getting shot will get a bucket load of free snacks and goodies." The adviser announced. Students from each group stuck together, and Seungmin and Minho were in one team, Felix and Jisung in one, Jeongin and Lia in one.
Yes, I had the worst luck ever.
Because I knew none of my friends would have mercy and would specifically love to attack someone among us in the opponent team for fun.
And also.
Sora and I were in the same team.
Talk about already predicted horrible teamwork.
I stared back at her with a straight face while she stared at me with a look that screamed "I want you dead."
"Noona, we're in the same team!" Jungwon cheered as he came in front of me.
"Yeah we are." I smiled at him.
A voice blared. "The game is going to start now. Discussion period is 5 minutes. Within 5 minutes, Mr. Park will blow the whistle, and every group should get into their positions and hence, the war shall commence!"
Loud cheers wailed into the air everyone formed a small discussion circle among their groups.
"Alright listen up," A group member I didn't know spoke up. "our position is behind the bushes over there." He pointed towards the spot. "There is a lot of open space and there are pillars and stuff here and there so when you move somewhere else, you have to do it quick." We nodded in sync. "And," someone else whom I also didn't know, threw in plot ideas. "Sora, you can try acting cute so that some guys don't attack you, and right when they fall into your trap, shoot them."
Wow, I like this guy. He's evil.
"I will try, because I never act cute." Sora said with a pout.
Is she for real-?
The guy's face morphed into pure cringe.
I definitely like this guy. He is in his senses.
We all took in the very wise words of the two gentlemen before the whistle blew off, and every team sprinted to take their positions. A couple of minutes later, the intense shooting began, and many members were shot and drenched in colored dyes. After a whole hour of intense suspense (oh that rhymed) three groups were totally wiped out, with me and the evil guy being the only survivors from our team and a few from others.
I took careful steps, looking around every second with quick movements, holding my mighty gun ready to shoot. I was desperately searching for some barrier as I got trapped in a completely open space due to escaping when I got caught up between a bunch of people.
And when I say escaped, I had literally run for my life.
That was the time Sora and some other members got shot, and also speaking of Sora, that stupid lady got too ahead of herself and walked out with confidence thinking everyone is that whipped for her, and only ended up in getting shot the next second.
I have no clue how she gets good marks in exams.
Finding the coast clear, I let my guard down a little as I turned a corner to hide until the game is over and I can secure the win. Since the area was huge, all players were scattered throughout, and it had been more than two hours, and I was pretty sure only a few members were left.
I will definitely flex to the others later about being among the last survivors.
However, right as I turned the corner, I faced a dead end. A plain wall.
Shit.
I spun on my heels to search the other way, and before I could even blink, both of my arms were pinned above my head against the wall, and my gun went flying to the side. A deep chuckle resonated down my ears followed by my breathless gasp.
"Caught you."
