Chapter 11

Jordan's POV:
We were just riding Amber was as stiff as a bored the whole thine she didn't speak or move another hour went pass minutes later she finally spoke.

"Are you going to kill me?" I looked over at her And decided to scare her a bit more "I don't know I'm still deciding" I said just then her eyes got wide I looked over at her again and shook my head giving her an reassuring smile to try and lighten the moon "No I'm not going to kill you I'm not a monster" I replied she then looked at me "I Don't actually know what you are" she said.
I then stopped the car on the side of the the road
She looked at me confused and scared

"Look Amber I'm giving you two options one you could get out of this car and run for your life even tell everyone about me Zoey included I said looking down "I deserve every bad thing that happens to me" I said before looking back up at her "or you could just stay and hear me out" I said unlocking The door. She went for the handle but stopped suddenly she slowly looked at me.

"Promise me I'll make it home safe" she said looking at me. I was shocked I really thought she was going to make a run for it I looked her dead in the eyes "I promise you that you will walk out of this car safe and unharmed" She slowly nodded then I began to tell her everything.

After about an hour I was done I felt like some of the Weight had been lifted off my shoulders but I also felt Instant regret I just put the fate of my family and the hands of my brother's crush.

She then looked at me and finally said something.
"So are you going to tell Zoey" she asked I was confused I just told this girl that I'm a kind of vampire and all she could think to ask is if I was going to tell Zoey.

I huffed and leaned back "I don't want to risk my family" she raised one eyebrow at me "it's a little to late for that now" she said. I guess she was right she knows now and she's taking it well just then I felt Amber poke my cheek I rolled my eyes well kind of well I just don't want Zoey to have to lie to everyone she loves for me.

Some time went by as we talked for hours Ambers actually an really nice person and you can tell how much she loves her best friend because if she didn't Im pretty sure she would've rated me out by now if it wasn't for Zoey.

Later on I took Amber home when we pulled up I remembered that Jalen was staying over here with her brother Antonio I looked down at my hands as a wave of guilt rushed past me i missed my brother more then anything and just wanted to talk to him and fix things.

Amber must've noticed my sudden change because a few seconds later she invited me in

" you know you can come in if you want my moms the coolest person in the world she won't mind even if you Are a blood sucker" she said with an smile I just rolled my eyes and smiled back But I didn't say anything I don't even know if he wants to see me.

"He misses you too you know" she said as if she could read my mind "really?" I asked "yes really he told me about your big fight Jalens just a big softie he can't Stand not being around you it's killing him"

I thought about it for a second then finally agreed we walked in the house and was immediately greeted  by a little boy " Amber!!!!! Your home" he said excitedly hugging her legs he then noticed me "who's she" the little boy asked thats when Amber crouched down to his level "this is my friend Jordan"  the little boy  looked confused "Jordan?? But Jordans a boys name" he said folding his arms

I just couldn't help but smile he was adorable
"Jordan can be a girl name too" I said to him the little boy just shrugged "I guess your right my names Andy wanna play cars with me" I just shrugged and he grabbed my hand and pulled me away I looked back at Amber who was just shaking her head. For an 5 year old he's very strong

I was playing cars with the little boy when I heard someone walk in the door with an very familiar voice they were laughing and talking. It must've been my brother and Ambers brothers.
"Hey little man I got to go" I said to the boy he pouted and looked as if he was about to cry "No No No don't cry look how about I buy my way out with this" I said holding up a little bag of candy. He immediately stoped pouting "Ok" he said jumping up and down I got up and gave the bag of candy to him before walking away.

When I got to the front room area the talking faded away "Oh hey Jordan" Antonio said "hey" I replied " what are you doing here" he asked "I'm actually here to talk to Jalen" I said looking at Jalen who was standing beside Antonio with an blank expression on his face

It was silent at first then Antonio said something "oh well how about I go get started you just come to my room when your finished up down here" he said to Jalen  who just nodded and watched as Antonio walked away. After watching Antonio disappear up the stairs he turned his attention to me.

"Why are you here" he said annoyed 
" look Jalen I'm sorry your my brother your my blood I should have never said something like that to hurt you" I said as he stared at me with an blank expression on his face 
I sighed "You don't have to forgive me I just want you to know that I'm sorry" I said before walking out the door.

As I was halfway to the car Jalen stopped me
"Hey! Wait" he said as he ran up to me.
I turned around to face him "I forgive you" he said . "it's like you said we are blood and even though you said something hurtful doesn't mean you don't get a second chance"  i smiled "thanks I won't take it for granted" I said "you better not" he replied as he pulled me in for a hug. "By the way I'm sorry too your love life is your Business and I should have respected that" he said as we broke off the hug.

"You we're a little pushy but I appreciate it it's clear that I have feelings for Zoey I'm just scared we have this secret and all that can get us thrown in a lab and and I just don't want that to happen Ill lose my mind if something was to happen to you"  I said

"Same here sis but if you like her the way you say you do then trust your heart for once and take that chance I like Zoey she's good people her and her sister" He said

I looked at him and raised one eyebrow "Her sisters a maniac"  I said "yeah but she's an trustworthy maniac" he said smiling "plus don't she remind you of someone" he asked I looked at him confused "um no not that I could think of. He smirked and shook his head "what why are you making that face" I asked "because  it's you she acts like"

"No she doesn't that girl is nothing like me" I said shaking my head.
"Whatever you say sis" he replied walking backwards with his hands raised in defeat.

"One person that you really should go see is Zoey she should know about us" he said "yeah your right I should go make things right" "I mean her best friend knows now" I said to him just then his eyes got wide "Amber knows how?" He asked " welp I may have sort of kind of lost control and ended up showing my fangs"

"Oh god"  he said "yup so don't be surprised if she starts harassing you with questions" I said
As He just slapped a hand on his forehead  "thanks for the heads up" he said "Anytime" I said laughing. "I should get going" he said I just nodded as if to say ok.

"I'll see you at home in the morning stay safe" he yelled as he disappeared into the house. waving bye I got in the car and made my way over to Zoeys house. 

He was right I should trust my heart and what it wants right now is Zoey.
