01. THE STORY OF ALEJANDRA & EMANUEL
THEALYN DE ORO, or as she liked to be called, Thea, was the youngest of four children. Four quadruplets, to be exact, 'four little nightmares born the same day.' That's what her father liked to say, but in all seriousness, Emanuel Rafael Barreno loved his children more than anything in the world. The only other person that could compare to the love this father felt for his children was his wife, Alejandra Magdalena de Oro.
Alejandra and Emanuel met in potions class at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, during their third year. Emanuel and his friend James Potter, two Gryffindors, were struggling with it, and Alejandra, a Hufflepuff, noticed that the ingredient the two boys added to the potion was about to have some explosive side affects. So, the young witch whipped out her wand and stopped it before the class assignment could erupt in the boys' faces. From that moment, Emanuel declared he was in love.
It took Alejandra some time before she felt the same. During her fourth year at Hogwarts, she believed that Emanuel was only interested in her because of her family, the de Oros. They were one of the most well known and powerful wizard families in the world. Every single one of them went to Hogwarts, and Alejandra was doing the same. But Emanuel didn't love her because she was a de Oro, he loved her because she was Alejandra.
While that was enough to convince Alejandra, it wasn't enough for her family. The de Oros didn't think that Emanuel was good enough for the witch because he was Muggle-born. But Alejandra didn't care, if anything, she loved a good tale about a pair of star-crossed lovers. It was like she had her own Romeo and she was Juliet.
The two finally began dating during their sixth year, and got married two months after they graduated from Hogwarts in 1976. Alejandra discovered she was pregnant shortly after, and gave birth to Teodor, Thomas, Tobias, and Thealyn on September 18th, 1977, Three wizards and one witch that had no idea the legacy they would have on their shoulders. When the quadruplets were about a year old, their parents joined the Order of the Phoenix to fight in the First Wizarding War alongside their friends, James Potter, Lily Evans (Now Potter,) Sirius Black, Rosalie Blanchet, Monroe Mintz, Remus Lupin, Valencia Villarreal, and Peter Pettigrew.
Two years past, and Alejandra, Emanuel, and their three-year-old children go into hiding after a prophecy is revealed. A prophecy that had their children, and James and Lily's son Harry at the center of it, along with Voldemort.
It was October 31st, 1981, Halloween, and Alejandra sat in a chair with her only daughter Thealyn on her lap in their small house in London. The little girl held on tightly to a Phoenix stuffed animal that her godfather gave to her the moment she was born. Emanuel was in the kitchen, preparing dinner while their boys, Teodor, Thomas, and Tobias ran around the living room in front of their mother. Teodor and Tobias were racing around the room, both of them holding paper airplanes their father made them, while Thomas simply tried to keep up with his brothers.
