53. THE BIRTHDAY WHERE WE START TO GROW UP (PART 2, we kind of grow up)
AFTER GIFTS, THEA rushed up stairs to her dorm room to touch up her hair and makeup while more and more people from other houses began to arrive for the party. After fixing her hair and makeup, Thea stared at herself in the mirror. She scrunched up the skirt all the way up as much as she possibly could before her butt was out before doing the same with the top. A happy grin rose to Thea's face before staring at her reflection some more. She looked nice— Almost sexy.
Thea wanted to be sexy. She wanted to do something with Cedric tonight, except she had no plan about how to go about it. They both had three roommates each in their rooms. Thea just shrugged, deciding to figure out the plan later. She just wanted to know that he found her sexy— That she was desirable.
Walking back downstairs to the common room, Thea let out a laugh at the scene. She wasn't surprised that there was a complete rager going on in the Hufflepuff common room. They were celebrating four birthdays after all, and one of them was Hogwarts' favorite party animal, Tobias de Oro.
Speaking of Tobi, he stood in the center of a bunch of his guy friends. His hand held a bottle of Fire-Whiskey as he chugged it, his friends screaming excitedly. Thea rolled her eyes before searching for her other two brothers. Teo was with Flynn in the back where no one else stood. Her brother had his boyfriend pinned against the wall as they locked lips. Next was Tommy, who was in a safe area of just sitting on the couch with Eva in his lap. Poppy, Noelia, Cedric, Ember, Ashton, and Lily were all around them. Scanning herself in the reflection of a chalice once more, Thea presented herself with a smile before walking over.
"Wow, who's this hottie?" Noelia shouted, pointing at Thea. The group on the couches turned their heads, all looking at Thea.
"Look at you!" Poppy screamed excitedly, clapping for the girl and Thea grinned. She glanced at Cedric, wanting to see his reaction the most. He hadn't said a word yet, but his eyes were on her.
His eyes were always on her, but usually meeting her own eyes. This time, Cedric's eyes were everywhere else on Thea's body. He started at her legs before settling on her thighs and the end of her short skirt for a few seconds. Not wanting to stare for too long, his blue eyes moved up.
Merlin's beard, Cedric did not want to stare too long, not wanting to make his girlfriend uncomfortable— But how the fuck could he not?
