38. THEA & THE FIRECRACKERS
"TEO, WHAT HAPPENED? Why did she pass out?" Cedric asked the eldest de Oro frantically as the Hufflepuff held Thea in his arms. The girl was still passed out but Teo sat against the wall, running his hands over his face. Tobi and Tommy stood nearby their brother, worried displayed all over their faces.
"I don't know," Teo whispered, letting out a sigh and he turned to his brothers. "It's like the feeling in our chests kept growing and growing till it took over."
"Teo, how are you feeling?" Remus asked his nephew as he approached the group again. He reached into his pocket, "Here, have some chocolate. It will—"
"Make you feel better." Teo, Tommy, and Tobi all finished in unison, knowing their uncle's words. He's been saying it their entire lives.
"Alright," Remus laughed and looked at his eldest nephew. "Really, how do you feel?"
"Tired." Teo answered.
"She's waking up," Cedric told the group and looked down at Thea. He pushed some hair out of her face, whispering, "Thea? Hey love, how are you feeling?"
The three de Oro brothers exchanged a look, hearing the sweet way Cedric spoke to their sister. Slowly, Thea's eyes opened and she groaned, "God, what happened?"
"You passed out." Cedric told her.
"Uncle Moony, what the hell was that thing?" Teo asked, looking up at the older man.
"A dementor. They're sort of guards for Azkaban." Remus answered.
"They're looking for Sirius." Tobi assumed and Remus nodded.
"Carina, Harry— They're both okay?" Thea wondered, leaning into Cedric's chest tiredly.
"Yes, I just checked on them. Harry passed out also, but he's alright. The dementors didn't get near Carina." Remus explained and looked at his nephews and niece. "The five of us need to have a chat when we get to school. I'm going to go see the driver, alright?"
The quads nodded as Cedric helped Thea off the ground. He whispered, "Are you sure you're okay? Do you want water or food—"
"Welcome! Welcome to another year at Hogwarts! I have a few thing to say, before we become befuddled by our excellent feast." Dumbledore spoke to the large crowd of students for the usually first feast of the school year.
Glancing at Thea, who could barley keep her eyes open as her hands held her head, Eva whispered, "Thea, can you try to stay awake please? Because it would look really bad if a prefect fell asleep during Dumbledore's speech."
"Sorry, the thing on the train— The dementor, I don't know why it affected me this way," Thea whispered back, running her hands over her face. "Teo's fine, Harry's fine."
