52. THE BIRTHDAY WHERE WE START TO GROW UP
IN THE WIZARD WORLD, turning 17 meant everything. You can drink, use magic outside of school, and apparate! Thea didn't have to worry about using spells that she wasn't 'old enough' for. For the Golden Four, it meant a bit more than that. They now had access to their de Oro inheritance that their mother and grandparents left them, but it wasn't all about the money. They were adults— They were growing up.
So, Thea de Oro woke up on her seventeenth birthday excited, but nervous. It was a Saturday, so she was able to put on whatever she wants. She chose a yellow top that could be scrunched together at the bottom to be shorter, and same with the white floral skirt-- Thea planned on scrunching up the skirt as short as possible as soon as she finished her apparition test.

At breakfast, Thea was greeted with plenty of hugs (A very good kiss from Cedric.) He also prepared her breakfast for her before she arrived, which included chocolate-chip-pancakes, a side of fruit, and a glass of orange juice. Cedric also tired to spell "Happy B-Day!" with the syrup on the pancakes.
Straight after breakfast, the quads went to go take their apparitions tests. To no one's surprise, they all passed! After the test, the Golden Four engaged in a group hug before they apparated to the Great Hall for lunch. Their friends all shouted excitedly at the sight, because it clearly meant they all passed.
Once they had ate lunch, their friends all sent them off to Hogsmeade, just the four of them, with a pile of galleons some of their friends had gathered as a gift. They were told to treat themselves to whatever they wanted and to be back after dinner.
The quads were happy to do so. So the four walked throughout Hogsmeade with smiles on their faces. Thea linked her arm into Tobi's, glancing at her brothers. She loved this. She loved them. It was so rare for it to be just the four of them anywhere. At Hogwarts, they were always with their friends, and during the breaks, they were always with their family and friends. Moments of just the Golden Four were every once in a blue moon, so they appreciating these few hours greatly.
"Honeydukes? Carina asked for something." Teo suggested and his three siblings nodded in agreement before entering the candy shop. Immediately, Thea had her hands on some chocolate bars.
"You know what I miss?" Tobi questioned with a smile before pointing at his siblings. "Fucking Jett bars from Colombia!"
"God, yes! Hermano, I agree!" Tommy raised his voice excitedly and Thea giggled, nodding her head. "American and British candy just can't top Colombian candy."
"American British anything can't top Colombian anything." Thea corrected, grinning happily. "I really missed it this summer. And jugo de mora, god!"
