21. WISHFUL THINKING FOR A FAKE ROMANCE
GREENHOUSE WITH Arella and Harrison wasn't bad at all. She became friends with them fast and they helped her understand the material of the class better. Ironically, besides them, the only other person she occasionally talked to was Dominic Edwards, the Slytherin she was warned about. He was in another of her classes and Professor Sprout constantly partnered the two of them up for labs— Thea wouldn't call them friends, just acquaintances.
"Gold!" Dominic exclaimed as the girl walked into the Greenhouse. Thea shook her head, sitting down next to him. Everyone was doing their work with partners today, and of course, the two were paired up.
"Are you over the loss yet?" Thea teased, grinning about Gryffindor's recent victory over Slytherin.
"Knew you would bring that up." Dominic sighed and turned to the girl. "So? Hogsmeade— this weekend?"
"What? Like you and me go to Hogsmeade?" Thea questioned and he nodded. "Together?"
"Why not?" Dominic shrugged and Thea tried not to blush. She couldn't deny it, the Slytherin was attractive— Good looks, a sense of humor....Why not?
"Sure." Thea agreed, nodding with a smile.
"It's a date, looking forward to it." Dominic smirked. Thea couldn't keep the smile off her face. She was going on a date with—
"Dominic Edwards?" Teo shouted, running into the Hufflepuff common room with Louis where Thea sat on the couch with Poppy and Eva. "Are you out of your mind?"
"How did you even get in here?" Poppy asked.
"At this point, they just let me in. I got a sibling in each house, I can go wherever I want." Teo shrugged before giving his sister a stern look. "Tell me it's not true."
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Thea spoke, not looking up from her work.
"I had to hear from Louis, who was told by Sonali, who heard from Emi, who was told by Flint, who heard from Draco," Teo rambled. "Who was told by Dominic Edwards that you two were going to Hogsmeade together!"
"That might be true, yes." Thea nodded before grabbing her quill and attempting to go back to her work.
"Thealyn Luna Alejandra de Oro!" Teo exclaimed, crossing his arms.
"Wow, look at you, taking my place as the mom sibling." Thea teased. "What's the big deal, Teo? We're partners in Greenhouse, he's nice."
