17. SOMETHING MORE
THE FIRST DAY OF classes was always a bit nerve-wrecking for Thea, especially when none of her friends were in her classes. She didn't struggle making new friends, but it's not exactly easy either. She didn't have to worry too much this year, at least she hoped. Her and her brothers were all in the same History of Magic class, just like the past two years. She had potions with Alex, Ember, and Silas. For her elective, Thea had chosen Divination, and she was grateful for her choice when she found out she had plenty of friends in that class. Cedric, Teo, Eva, Lee, and Angelina. Both the Weasley twins were in her astronomy class, as was Tommy and Poppy. Thea's had transfiguration with Noelia and Eva for the past two years, and it made the girls sad to discover they were not in the same transfiguration class. But, Thea had the class with Lupus, Tobi, and Ember, so she was fine.
What she was not fine with was not having a single friend in Herbology. Herbology class was always with Fred and George for Thea, but they had different classes this year. It made her disappointed, there was something so safe about Herbology, a class that came so natural to her, and having it with two of her bestfriends made it so much better.
But here Thea walked alone to the Greenhouse for Herbology on the first day of classes.
"Sunny, take the sad look off your face!" Fred scolded and Thea couldn't help but smile when the twins walked up to her.
"I don't know a single person." Thea reminded.
"More importantly, we're not in your class." George smirked and Thea rolled her eyes. "You'll make friends fast, sunshine."
"You think so?" Thea questioned.
"Know so." The twins said in unison and Thea smiled.
"We'll see you at lunch, alright?" Fred patted her shoulder.
"Wait, like you're actually gonna sit with us?" Thea questioned, an excited smile on her face.
"Oh yeah, we're not listening to a bloody thing that Percy the Prefect says this year." George rolled his eyes before the twins walked away and Thea made her way into the Greenhouse. She sat down in her same seat from the past two years and greeted Professor Sprout with a smile.
"Hey, you're Thea, right?" The girl turned around to see a tall boy with dark hair looking at her.
"Yup," Thea nodded with a friendly smile, desperately wanting to know someone in the class.
"I'm Harrison, I'm friends with Tommy, we're in the same house," He gestured to the Ravenclaw patch on his robe. "Do you mind if I sit?"
"No, of course not, sit down," Thea shook her head and Harrison smiled. "So, is Tommy really smart or are the rest of us just not so smart?"
Harrison laughed, nodding, "Tommy is one of the smartest people in our house and probably smartest in our year. He never lets you forget it, but he does have his reasons."
