07. BLIND LOYALTY,
BROKEN BONDS

"WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?" Thea asked Tobi and Tommy as the three stared at Teo, who sat at the Slytherin table laughing. It was dinner time, and everyone was in the Great Hall.

Tobi didn't say, not even look at Thea before standing up from the table and walking over to Teo. Thea and Tommy quickly stood up and followed him, not wanting him to do anything stupid.

"Teo!" Tobi called and the eldest quad turned around in his seat. His eyes widened in panic as the boys he sat with looked at his siblings with dirty looks.

"What— What are you guys doing?" Teo whispered, standing in front of them and trying to lead them away from the table. Thea just glared at him, hurt filling her eyes.

"Nice to see you too." Tommy spoke up, shaking his head in disbelief. "This is the first time we're talking in almost a month, and you're dragging us away from your table like you're ashamed to be seen with us."

"This really isn't a good time—" Teo began.

"Then when is a good time?" Tobi cut him off, raising his voice. "Because it seems like you never have time for us. You can't even bother to say hi to us in the hallways! So when is a good time, Teo? Do we need to make an appointment with your boys club in order to have a conversation with our brother?"

"Tobi, turn around and walk away." Teo whispered, trying not to get angry.

"Don't make a scene." Tommy shook his head.

"Let's talk about this somewhere else—" Teo suggested, grabbing Tobi's arm and he immediately slapped his hand, shoving Teo off him. Thea jumped and a small gasp left her lips.

"Don't touch me." Tobi spat angrily and fear grew in Thea's chest. "We know all about why you're doing this. This is all just to impress a bunch of Slytherins that won't even let you in their group because of something as stupid as your blood status!"

"Shut up!" Teo demanded, his voice growing louder. Thea dared to look away from her brothers for a moment, seeing multiple eyes in the Great Hall staring at them.

"Teo, just listen to us—" Thea spoke up.

"Don't call me that!" He cut her off and Thea's eyes widened. "My name is Teodor, not Teo."

Thea glared at her brother, moving in front of Tommy to look at Teo. "We've called you that our entire lives, and you never had a problem with it before. Why are you changing yourself for a group of people who don't deserve you?"

"You don't know that!" Teodor shouted.

"We promised we would stick together at this school," Thea whispered, struggling to not let tears brim her eyes before raising her voice, yelling. "Familia para siempre! And now I'm looking at you, I don't even see my brother. I see some jerk who's pushing us away and pretending like his family doesn't even exist. What is that? Where is your loyalty?"
