41. GHOSTS IN THE CASTLE

"WHY ARE YOU stressing so much, Thea? You're making me dizzy!" Poppy asked while straightening her hair and watching Thea panic slightly. The two of them and the two other roommates were all pacing and moving around the room, getting ready for Hogsmeade in the morning.

"Nice, Pop," Eva sighed before turning to Thea, giving her a gentle smile. "Thea, calm down, please. Try to breathe— Do you want to breathe together?"

"No, no, I'm fine, I'm sorry!" Thea shook her head frantically while she stood in front of the mirror in their room. She turned around to face her roommates, "Do you think he'll like it? Will he like me?"

"He literally told you he loves you yesterday and for the past four days." Poppy reminded before her, Eva, and Noelia all glanced at the de Oro girl and quieted down.

A short yellow dressed hugged the girl's waist nicely, but the skirt of the dress was looser and less fitted. Cute puff sleeves sat on Thea's shoulders and the dress had a tie in the front between Thea's breasts. She had yellow converse and a gold necklace from her mother on to match and her curls sat nicely, framing her face. Her makeup was simple as always, but the best part was the de Oro girl's hopeful smile on her glossy lips.

"Oh god, you look bloody gorgeous." Poppy sighed with a smirk.

"You look really pretty, Tea." Eva agreed, placing a hand on the girl's shoulder encouragingly.

"Really?" Thea asked, her hands folding together in front of her.

"Yes, really," Noelia promised. "Diggory won't be able to take his eyes off you, but he never does anyway. He loves you."

Thea nodded slowly, staring at herself and her friends' reflections in the mirror with her hopeful smile. Poppy walked over, unfolding the girl's hands and lifting her chin up, "Be confident, Thea. You have nothing to worry about."

Soon, the four girls walked down the stairs of the Hufflepuff common room. Thea held in a nervous sigh as she saw Cedric sitting on the couches with Silas, Micah, and Wesley. The four boys were talking before Wesley tapped Cedric's shoulder, gesturing to the stairs.

Cedric immediately turned around and towards the stairs— His eyes drawn to Thea perfectly. He grabbed something besides him and walked towards the girls. Cedric wore a navy blue sweater that brought out his captivating eyes and dark pants. His hair was perfect as always and he had his beautiful smile on his lips. Thea was too focused on his smile to even realize what the boy was holding until he was right in front of her.

"These are for you. They reminded me of your eyes." Cedric spoke as Thea was brought back to her reality.

She looked down, her heart skipping a beat when she saw a bouquet of golden yellow lilies in Cedric's hands. Thea grinned blissfully, taking them carefully from Cedric's hands. He had bought her flowers— A boy had bought her flowers! And not just any boy, it was Cedric Diggory.
