16. PIECED-TOGETHER FAMILY
NEXT TO TOMMY, Thea sat on the Hogwarts express once more, on the way to school. Teo sat across from them, an empty seat next to him for Tobi.
"Alright, where did he go?" Tommy rolled his eyes. "Buying a couple chocolate frogs shouldn't take this long."
"I'll get him—" Thea went to stand up but Tobi entered the compartment. "Where were you?"
"More importantly, did you get me my beans?" Teo questioned and Tobi tossed him a box of jellybeans.
"You won't believe it," Tobi shook his head, sitting next to Teo. "There's talk on the entire train, Harry Potter is here!"
"Potter? As in James and Lily's son?" Thea's eyes widened.
"As in the only other person who survived Voldemort that night besides us?" Tommy whispered and looked at his siblings. "Makes sense, he's two years younger than us, it's his first year."
"I thought he was being raised by Muggles." Teo reminded.
"He's Harry Potter, he survived Voldemort. His name must have been on the list for Hogwarts since that night, just like us." Tommy explained.
"Papa, at Diagon Alley, he thought he saw someone." Tobi remembered.
"He thought he saw James, Harry must have been there getting his supplies." Thea said, peeking her head out of the train cart. "I wonder where he is."
"What are we even going to tell him when we do see him?" Teo asked. "Hey, our dad was friends with your dead parents? We shouldn't remind him that he's an orphan for crying out loud, I'm sure plenty of arses here will do that for us."
"Teo, we should at least let him know who we are," Thea frowned. "We're the only people on Earth who will even slightly understand what he's about to go through. We should be there for him."

Thea pulled Eva into a tight hug whilst they stood in front of the Hufflepuff table in the Great Hall. They had arrived at Hogwarts a few moments earlier, and second years and above were to wait at their tables till the first years entered for the Sorting Ceremony. This meant that every person had to sit with their house table, and Thea and her brothers couldn't sit together. She didn't mind though, it gave her a moment to catch up with her Hufflepuff friends.
"Ev, it's good to see you," Thea smiled excitedly, placing a hand on the girl's shoulder and Eva hissed in pain. "Oh my god, I'm sorry!"
