Multifandom Hurt/Comfort Oneshots

A/N : This was a request from someone on AO3. I twisted my ankle today during Chorus class so I'm in a lot of pain and decided now would probably be the perfect time to fulfill this old request (I have a mountain of requests I need to do and I'm not really doing them in a particular order so... Yeah)

The Roanokes had been running for their lives from a dinosaur that had leaked out from the other dimension, so no one except for Mal had really noticed when Molly suddenly fell with a groan of pain.

Mal, being the phenomenal girlfriend that she is, was quick to help the blonde up and run back to the others. They all eventually reached the camp, and the dinosaur mysteriously backed off once they did, as if it was afraid of being seen. Mal offhandedly noticed it running back into the depths of the forest and briefly wondered if Nellie was going to deal with it, but her attention soon redirected itself back to her girlfriend once she heard another pained groan.

There was no visible cuts or bleeding, so Mal was able to check off dinosaur attack from the list of possible injuries that had put Molly in this state, but the girl was still clearly in pain, so Mal gently led her into the cabin and sat her down on the bed. She briefly noted that her girlfriend had adopted a bit of a limp ever since her fall.

"Where does it hurt?" Jo suddenly spoke up as Mal continued to search aimlessly for any sign of injury. The black-haired girl turned her head to her with a small, thankful smile. Jo had always been the best of the group when it came to things like this. Molly silently pointed at her right foot before mumbling out a small "I twisted my ankle"

Everyone was relieved to hear that it wasn't anything too serious, but it still obviously was not ideal, as the blonde was still in pain.

"Okay" Mal said with a relieved exhale. "Someone go get Jen" she said in a voice more determined than the others typically heard her. The others partially wanted to object, mainly because Jen would probably yell at them for having gone out into the woods again without telling her, but they soon quickly realized that it was probably the best bet just to get her. After all, none of them were medical professionals, and while Jo knew a few ways to ease the pain, she wasn't sure how bad the sprain was.

So, the others left to go find Jen, leaving Mal and Molly alone in the cabin. "Are you okay?" Mal asked quietly as she reached out to hold Molly's hand. "Been better" the blonde replied with a small chuckled as she held the other girl's hand. "Walking's gonna be a bitch for a bit"

Mal let out a small laugh at hearing her girlfriend curse, something which she very rarely did. "Well, I'd be happy to carry you anywhere if needed" she offered, causing the other girl to blush slightly. "If I get a cane or something, I should be fine" Molly objected. "Your loss" Mal replied with a shrug, to which Molly playfully shoved her.

Soon, Jen returned, looking annoyed. The other girls looked exhausted, and Mal could tell they had all just received a very lengthy lecture about safety. But, Jen decided to spare the injured girl and, by extension, her girlfriend. She leaned down to examine the injury and soon determined that it wasn't anything too serious.

"Maybe find a walking stick or something" the counselor said after a second. "Just to take the pressure off of your ankle while you're still healing" she continued. "But, aside from that, you should be fine to resume activities as usual. Just don't go doing anything too crazy until it heals a bit"

"Yes, ma'am" Molly said with a small nod. "Now..." Jen started again as she stood up to look at the other girls. "It's getting late. No leaving the cabin until tomorrow, got it?" she asked with a stern expression, gaining an array of different agreements before nodding and going to the door. "I'm going to go clean up from today's activities. You kids are going to be the death of me" she added before leaving.

Typically, Molly slept on the top bunk but considering the fact that she would have to climb a ladder with a freshly injured foot, Mal insisted that she slept on the bottom bunk, to which the blonde agreed. Mal went to go to the top but suddenly felt an arm stop her. She looked down to see her girlfriend patting the spot next to her. Of course, Mal had just been wanting to give the girl her space, but she also wasn't going to turn down being able to wake up next to the girl she loved in the morning, so she climbed back down and went to lay next to her.

The other Roanokes looked on and all exchanged a knowing glance with each other. Mal and Molly were many things, but subtle was not one of them. Even if they hadn't already announced their relationship to their cabinmates, they still would've figured it out. How could they not?

"Alright, girls" April said quietly, turning to Jo and Ripley and quietly shoving them into the bathroom. "Get ready for bed" she instructed, gaining an annoyed glance from Jo. "April, you realize we can't all change in here at the same time, right?"

"Oh, yeah" April responded with a chuckle as she pulled Ripley out of the bathroom, leaving Jo behind to get dressed. Soon enough, all the Roanokes were in bed, resting. Jen walked in and smiled as she saw the usually loud cabin being so peacefully quiet. She set the walking stick she had found during her little outing by Mal's bed before going to her own bed and finally getting some proper rest herself.

Today was eventful she thought to herself with a small smile as exhaustion began to consume her. In the morning, Ripley would probably wake her up as soon as the sun began to show up over the horizon. Molly would probably be giving her a small "thank you" for the stick. April would likely be excitedly pointing out an activity for the group to do, and it would inevitably lead to chaos, but, in the meantime?

Well, in the meantime, the Roanoke cabin was quiet.
