A/N : Takes place after The Future

Pearl sat on the couch, not really feeling much of anything. A hint of sadness but that was as far as it went. She felt emotionally numb.

Garnet was always good with helping this kind of thing, but she wasn't there. Ruby and Sapphire were off doing their own separate things.

Amethyst seemed to pick up on Pearl's mood, or lack there of, because she grabbed 2 apple sodas and sat next to her.

She handed Pearl one of the apple sodas. Pearl took in in her hand and just looked at it, trying to build up the energy to open and drink it.

"You wanna watch Pupcopter?" Amethyst asked, trying to cheer Pearl up

Pearl just shrugged apathetically in response, so Amethyst turned on the movie.

The two just sat there while the movie played. Eventually Pearl found the energy to stand up.

"I'm going to my room" she said apathetically before walking to the temple door.

Right before she entered she decided to show some appreciation for Amethyst trying to help so she turned her head and said "Goodnight", then went into her room
