Luz felt so out of control. She was hyperventilating and she was really shaky. Her heart was beating so fast.
Memories of Eda's worse than death experience flew through her mind. She began to cry and put her head in her hands.
A hand was across her back. It was a little bit comforting.
"Eda..." She whimpered out as the memories continued to flow through her mind

"Luz, it's okay" a voice said "Eda's okay. You saved her"
Luz recognized the voice to be Amity.
Amity looked at the girl she loved so much and felt empathy
It was odd for her. It didn't come naturally. Her parents certainly never displayed empathy. Her siblings did but it was often ruined by all the teasing
She felt empathy though
She had suffered many anxiety attacks herself so she knew how awful they can be
"You need to try and take deep breaths, Luz" Amity said soothingly
Luz turned and pulled her into a hug
Amity could feel the human's body shivering and shaking. She could feel the human's rapid heart rate.
"It's okay" Amity said reassuringly, rubbing circles on Luz's shaking back
After about 10 minutes, Luz was starting to calm down.
She was still shaky but the hyperventilating and crying had stopped
Eda walked in the room and looked at them
"What happened?" She asked
Luz didn't reply
"Luz had a panic attack" Amity told the owl lady
"Oh, I'm sorry you had to go through that, kid" Eda said sympathetically
"That ever happens again, you come to me, got it?"
Luz nodded in response
"Good. Now, you should be getting home, shouldn't you, Blight?" Eda asked
Amity flinched a bit, concerning Eda
"I don't know if that's a particularly safe idea..." Amity said quietly
Eda nodded in understanding "Okay. You can stay over. Just don't make a mess" she said before leaving the room
