It was already thursday and Katie didn't answer. What was happening? Was it a bad idea? While I was thinking about this, the long-awaited message came.
Texts again bc yes 👌
Katie ✨: Hey! Sorry for not responding. I wasn't sure about my decision yet. Brenda convinced me. I'm coming with you guys. I hope it's not too late. 🥺
Felix :D : Don't worry.
Katie ✨: Thx, what's the plan?
Felix :D : Look, we're leaving tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. Then, we put the tents, make a fire and eat marshmallows as we tell horror stories. The rest is decided by Foxy, but he doesn't want to tell us.
Katie ✨: Okay, then. See you! 😉
(Katie's pov)
When I finished texting with Felix, Brenda asked me to go shopping with her. I agreed since I didn't have a tent. At the mall, after shopping, we went to a famous restaurant in Lucella. It was called "Kitty's Kitchen". I already went there like... a thousand times. We were just chilling until the chef (Kitty) passed out.
Katie: What the- Miss, are you okay?
Brenda: Asking that won't wake her up! Hurry, bring my emergency bag!
Once I took the bag to Brenda, she started checking the chef.
Brenda: She isn't breathing...
Katie: Maybe something got stuck in her throat.
Brenda: That's it! Excuse me, I gotta do something.
Katie: Okay...
After that, I moved backwards as Brenda got close to our patient and pressed near her stomach. That made her wake up, and spit something.
Kitty: *coughs* My gosh, what happened??
Katie: You were unconcious, miss, but my friend made you wake up.
Brenda: Katie, look, this is it.
She showed me a big piece of apple. I guess that was the stuck thing.
Kitty: Oh, so... That was it??
Katie: Yes. Continue working.
Kitty: TYSM!
Brenda: Y'all listened! Everything is okay!
I didn't get to notice there was a lot of people watching, but they quickly got away.

Another day of work had passed, and I couldn't wait for the camping trip.
Actually it was Foxy's idea since I told him I wanted to spend some time with Katie. Since our first encounter, I couldn't stop thinking about her. I started liking her. A lot. That blushed face always appeared in my dreams since then. Now, the question is... Am I going to confess??
