Ch 15: "More plans"

(Katie's pov)

That fight from the other day was strange. Why did Felix suddenly started saying those things? Did I... Did I do something wrong?
Pony was trying to make me feel better, and I did in a way.
Willow splitted us when we were going to sleep. Pandy, Kitty and I slept in one room, and the rest (except for our leader since she  slept alone) in the other one. I was sitting in my bed, staring at the door, when Pandy started interrogating me.

Pandy: Hey, can I ask you something?
Katie: Sure, what is it?
Pandy: It's about Felix. You guys seemed really close, but it has been two days and he doesn't talk to you and you don't talk to him either. Did something happen?
Katie: Well, I... I prefer not to talk about it.
Pandy: Look. We all will have to live together for at least one or two years. You will have to learn to trust us. Or to trust me at least. Tell me what's going on, maybe I can help you.
Katie: *sighs* You are right, something happened. Felix got mad at me for some reason, but I still don't know why.
Pandy: Did you do something he wouldn't like?
Katie: As far as I know, I didn't. I don't understand why he's acting like this, but I miss him. I'd like just to talk to him and start messing around like we were used to... But now I can't.

When I finished saying that, Kitty entered to the room with a toothbrush in her mouth.

Kitty: Hey there! Were you both talking about something important?
Pandy: Well, not really.
Katie: Actually... I have a question.
Kitty: What is it?
Katie: What do you do when someone who is close to you suddenly starts acting weird?
Kitty: Well... If I were you, I'd ask him or her if something happens.
Katie: But... What if he doesn't want to talk with me?
Kitty: Oh... That's difficult. I'd try to talk again to that person. Why are you asking?
Pandy: She had a fight with Felix last week.
Kitty: With Felix? What a shame. You guys made such a great couple...
Katie: He was kinda childish. But... I'm starting to think it had something to do with Pony... Hey! We are not a couple!
Kitty: Ik, but you guys seemed to like each other.
Katie: Really?
Pandy: I actually agree. Why else would he be jealous?
Katie: Uhm... Because... Because he's my friend! Or at least he was.
Kitty: Suspicious... And why are you so worried abt it?
Katie: 'Cause I like him, okay?

We all stayed in complete silence after that, and then, someone knocked at the door.

Pandy: W-Who is it?
Foxy: It's me! Just to tell you, Tigry, Rash and I are trying to sleep.
Kitty: Sorry!
Katie: Is Felix asleep?
Foxy: I guess he is, why?
Katie: Oh, I just wanted to know. Goodnight!

Foxy left, and as soon as he did, Pandy and Kitty turned around to see me.

Kitty: *whispers* Let me see if I understand. You like Felix, but, instead of trying to see if he likes you back, you decided to hang out with Pony.
Katie: *whispers x2* I... I just thought he didn't...
Pandy: *whispers x3* You can confirm he likes you too. He's jealous, isn't he?
Katie: But, it's just because he's my friend, I already said that!
Kitty: Really? And he also flirts to you because he's your friend? Don't mind if I say this, but he's giving himself away, isn't it obvious? Look, we have to do something for you guys to be together again. Pandy, during breakfast, you and I will start bothering him saying he's jealous, just to see if he really is. Then, you have to talk about the much that Katie misses him. That will make him think about it. When we're done with that, Katie, you will leave a note in the room saying just: "Outside, 7 a.m.". At that hour, you'll be outside waiting for him to come. When he's with you, you'll just try to ask him why he's like this with you. If he tells you, well done. If he doesn't, don't worry. But if he leaves or doesn't even go, he doesn't deserve you. Understood?
Katie: Yes, but there's a problem. Willow won't leave us stay outside, and even less if it's at early morning.
Pandy: You're right.
Kitty: And that's when Pony will help us.

(The next day...)

Pony: So... You want me to hide this... toy spider in the base?
Kitty: Yes. It's just for a little.
Pony: Okay, but, where did it come from?
Pandy: Well, I used to carry it to bother a friend of mine, and it casually was in my bag when I came. Here. It needs this remote.
Pony: Does it even work?
Pandy: It does.
Pony: Again, why are we doing this?
Katie: I want to have enough time to talk with Felix outside without Willow knowing abt it. Can you please help me?
Pony: If you ask for it...
Kitty: The note. Did you leave it under the door of his room, Katie?
Katie: I just did. I'll be outside. Come search for me if something happens, okay?
Pandy: We'll do. Good luck.

After those words, I left.
