Ch 20: "Feelings (part 1)"

(Felix's pov)

After what happened just now (which was really strange tbh), I went downstairs with the rest.

Felix: Hey, guys. Are you done talking?
Pandy: We are! Come over here, we were waiting for you.

I approached them, but I could notice something at that same instant.

Filip: What happens? You look worried.
Felix: Sorry, but... Does anybody know where Katie is?
Kitty: He worries about her?
Pandy: Now that's some true love right there. *sighs* So jealous~
Foxy: She came blushing really hard, and then went outside, probably to get some air.
Felix: I'll go search for her outside then.
Baren: Sure, go ahead.
Tigry: What do you mean I don't worry about you, Kitty??
Kitty: When have you been worried, huh?
Tigry: Everytime, of course!
Rash: *starts laughing*

I went outside and saw Katie right there, sitted on a rock, drawing with a stick on the ground.

(Katie's pov)

Felix: Hey!

I turned around, saw him, and started blushing.

Katie: Oh, hi.
Felix: What are you doing?
Katie: I felt like I had no air, so I came for some.
Felix: The soil looks good- is that a heart over here?
Katie: I-It's not!
Felix: Then what is it?
Katie: Just a random drawing. If it looks like a heart, that's pure coincidence.

Yeah... I'm not that good at lying.

Felix: Well then... We should go inside. They're waiting for us.

He took my hand and I could feel that. What they call "butterflies in the stomach". I'd describe it as a weird, yet beautiful feeling you get when that special person just does... anything.

Katie: Y-Yeah, let's go.

I was blushing harder. We went inside the base holding hands, and as we opened the door, I was able to hear Kitty and Tigry discussing as Rash and Foxy were laughing out of control.

Tigry: What about that time, at the cafe? Do you remember? The guy who was flirting to you? I got worried at that moment!
Kitty: I remember it, but you were jealous! That's completely different!
Rash & Foxy: *laughing intensifies*

Meanwhile Pandy, Baren and Filip...

Pandy: *eats popcorn* That's some gossip there! XD
Baren: *eats popcorn x2* It sure is.
Filip: *eats popcorn x3* Do you guys think they'll stop anytime soon?
Pandy & Baren: Nope.

(Felix's pov)

Yeah. They were still arguing.

Katie: What a weird way to demonstrate someone you like them.
Felix: Huh?
Katie: Oh! Uh... I was talking about those two. Kitty told me she's lowkey interested on him.
Felix: Is that so?
Katie: *nods*

"Did she just... nod? Then why is that so cute?"

Pony: Oh! You are back!
Felix: Yeah. Mission accomplished! *smirks*
Foxy: There's a whole drama there!
Kitty: Yeah, but- Katie! You're back! I'm glad Felix found you.
Katie: Well, I was easy to be found, I guess. Next time I'm gonna hide better.
Felix: Oh, no, you won't!

Katie smiled at me and then... blushed. Again.

Rash: Well, that was such a great comedy, but... are we gonna start doing what we said we were going to do or...?
Kitty: Oh! You are right!
Katie: Well... Let's go then. Guys!

Pandy: Rock, paper, scissors!
Baren: ... I won again!
Filip: Guys, they're calling us.
Pandy: Ok... *looks at Baren* This isn't over yet!
Baren: Yeah, right.

We headed to the kitchen, where Kitty gave us orders.

Kitty: Okay. Pandy, Baren and Rash, open the fruit cans and put them in this bowl. Tigry, Foxy, Pony and I will pour some oranges and mix.
Felix: What about us?
Kitty: You and Katie will be in charge of serving, as well as washing the dishes.
Katie: Please tell me you're not doing this on purpose-
Kitty: Questions? No? Then let's start!

The rest of them started preparing the food, as I searched for the dishes and Katie helped me.

Katie: Well... Did you find any?
Felix: No... What about you?
Katie: Me neither.

I saw the rest; Tigry was patting Kitty's head as she laughed. I thought I could try doing that, so I extended my hand to her head.

Katie: We can't find the dishes... Wait, what are you doing?
Felix: *pat pat* Don't worry, we will. Be patient.
Katie: Uhm... Are you okay?
Felix: Always, if you are by my side.
Katie: Ngl, you are scaring me.
Felix: Oh... sorry. I got lost for a moment.
Katie: *giggles* I don't know what that was, but it sure was cute.

I looked into her eyes, as she started blushing once again.

Kitty: Guys! Did you find the dishes?
Katie: Oh... Uhm... We're on that!
Felix: Yeah! Well, we can't find them.
Kitty: *sighs* Tigry! Where did you leave them?
Tigry: Huh? Oh, the dishes? Up there.

He pointed to some shelves.

Katie: Right... How come I didn't think of it before?
Kitty: Maybe... You got lost in his gaze and didn't know what you were doing anymore.
Felix: *teasingly* Oh did you? I know, it's difficult not to fall for me.
Katie: *sighs* Dummy.

"Dummy" counter: 2

I decided to continue teasing her.

Felix: Did you just call me "Dummy"? Well... Maybe it's because you got me going dumb. *wink*
Katie: *blushes* Ah- what!?
Kitty: Stop, guys. There's a lot to do.
Katie: Y-Yeah, you're right.

(Katie's pov)

Felix took the dishes out of the shelves, as I saw how the rest were finished mixing everything.

Felix: Hey, what I just said...
Katie: I know, you were kidding. It was... I don't know how to describe it.

He smiled at me, and then turned around to continue taking more dishes (even though there was already more than ten in the table).

Kitty: Well, guys. Your turn.
Felix: Ok. Is there any spoons around here?
Pandy: Yeah, Katie has them.
Katie: Here. Have one. I must help as well.
Felix: *smiles* Thanks, Katie.

I felt my heart pounding. Why was I so nervous?

Katie: Yeah, no... no problem.

We served the fruits for everyone while talking about random stuff, and then sitted in a circle alongside the rest of the members to start eating.

Kitty: Before we start... really, thanks to everyone for helping.
Filip: No problem, it sure was a pleasure for all. Right?
Pandy: Yeah!
Pony: Agreed.
Kitty: *smiles* Well... Let's dig in, guys!

When finished, we all got up from the floor and went to the kitchen.

Kitty: That was good. Now... Felix, Katie, you guys should hurry. It's getting late, we will have to get to our bedrooms soon.
