(Felix's pov)

Tigry: Woah, didn't think I'd find you here.
Peyton: Me neither, bro-

They were still talking. Turns out Peyton was also an old friend of Tigry. He was waiting for Kitty to finish packing, and the puma decided to have a little chat with him.

Helen: Uhm... Honey? Who is this?
Peyton: Sweetheart, this is Tigry, the one I talked to you about.
Tigry: H - H U H?
Peyton: What? Surprised? Well, yes, Tigry. I am a lesbian. This is Helen, my girlfriend.
Tigry: Okay, maybe there is too much I need to process right now.
Peyton: By the way, your girl has turned really pretty-
Tigry: Don't even think about it.
Peyton: What? I was just commenting.
Tigry: Oh...
Peyton: Ya know? Maybe we should go on a double date when this is over.
Helen: Oh, that's a great idea!

(Katie's pov)

Pandy: Aw- *squeezes Kitty's cheeks* Our little Kitty is growing so fast!
Kitty: Pandy, stop!

The three of us were on the second floor, where we had left our luggage. I was searching for some useful stuff for Kitty, as she and Pandy played around for the last time.

Katie: Alright, I packed you some water, tuna, a few blankets, and pillows so you can be comfy. I guess you are ready now.

Kitty smiled at me.

Kitty: There's one more thing left.
Katie: Huh?

She searched inside her bag and found the yarn ball that I gave her a little bit more than two weeks ago.

Kitty: This is yours. Stay with it, as thanks for everything you've done for us.
Katie: Aww, you really didn't have to-

Kitty suddenly hugged me tightly.

Kitty: Geez, I'll miss you!

Then, she pulled Pandy into the hug as well.

Kitty: You too! I'll miss both of you, thanks for such a sincere and genuine friendship and support!

We both returned the hug.

Katie: We'll miss our sunshine too.
Pandy: Stay safe, Kitty. If I ever get to know something happened to you, Tigry won't be seen again.
Kitty: Wha-

It had now been nearly a month ever since Kitty left, and yeah, Pandy and I still missed her. But we had to move on.

Oh! About Pandy, she started getting back that little bond she had formed with Baren. She was now hanging out with him and Filip a lot.

As for me, well... Let's just say I was now trying to heal my wounds.
Literally.

Katie: Oh, crap- It hurts.
Alice: Told you we shouldn't have crossed those bushes. I saw the spikes.
Helen: Alright, I looked at my plant encyclopedia. You don't have to worry, those spikes aren't venomous.

I was putting a bit of alcohol on my legs, as they had some scratches. I had gone on a supply run with Ruby, Alice, Helen, and Pandy earlier, and we took a shortcut across some bushes with spikes in them. For some reason, I was the only one who ended up injured.

Ruby: That looks better. Do you need anything?
Katie: Yes, please. Can you bring me those bandages from my medic bag?
Ruby: Sure thing!

Days and nights were passing really fast lately, as we all learned how to overcome and spend every week as if it was our last.

My relationship with Felix was every time better, we deeply cared for each other and he was always there for me.

It looked like we both had matured a lot over this past year and a half. Yeah, we still played around and stuff, but for example, we stopped fighting over little things. We always found a way to solve our problems together and support the other when needed. And that's what I loved the most about us.

"Oh, shoot! I completely forgot I was going to meet him!"

We were in front of the warehouse, sitting on the floor and staring at the beautiful sunset.

Felix: How are your wounds?
Katie: Healing. They don't hurt as much.

We stayed silent for a while. I soon laid my head on his shoulder and sighed.

Katie: We've come a long way together, huh?
Felix: Yeah. It feels like it was yesterday when I first met you.
Katie: Oh, right! When you grabbed my glasses and ran away like a whole jerk!

I giggled at the thought.

Felix: You really have a great memory. Ahh... Those days when everything was normal...
Katie: I wonder how long it will take to restore everything.

I looked at his deep green eyes.

Felix: Let's just enjoy this moment, shall we?

His face got closer to mine, and we both shared a loving kiss of about- 20 seconds I guess?
Then I looked at him with a smile.

Katie: No matter what, I'll be here for you always, okay?

He nodded with a grin.

Felix: Me too.

We looked at the sky again.

(Third-person narrative) (Yes. Again.)

After not even a minute, Felix turned his head again to look at his girlfriend and proceeded to talk.

Felix: We are not done yet.
Katie: Huh? What do you-

Before she could finish talking, he started tickling her. She laughed.

Katie: Wait- *giggles* Stop!

He didn't stop it, of course. Not until she ended up laying on the grass. He went on top of her and kissed her forehead.

Felix: Love you, my red flower.
Katie: Love you too, Felix.

They stared into each other's eyes for a while, smiling. Then they kissed again. Everything was now alright. No matter what or how, she would always care for him, and he would never let anything bad happen to her.

In the end, it looks like they were meant for each other.

The end.

And. I'm. Finally. Done!

Thank you all for your support through this story. I sincerely didn't think someone would even read it! I truly hope you guys have liked it (though it was pretty long and with plenty of filler). I'll rewrite it if I ever get the time and inspiration to do so.

Anyway, my mother told me she'll be taking my cellphone. I won't repeat any school subjects (thankfully) but my grades still aren't as great as my family would have wanted. So yeah. I'm in a rush right now. "Wish You Back" is just in my mind, for now, but I'll get to work on it as soon as I can get back. Hopefully, it will soon.
Hopefully.

Thank you all for reading. Until next time!

That's all for now!
