(Katie's pov)
It was already nighttime, and I was laying on my bed, with a big smile. My heart was still fluttering and pounding, and my face had a very visible blush. I just had Felix inside my mind and nothing else. I remembered how he wished me a good night just a few minutes ago.
(Flashback)
Felix: Don't be concerned. He'll be alright. You already helped him.
Katie: Are you sure?
Felix: I am. Go to sleep now, okay, cutie?
Katie: Why are you calling me "cutie" again? It's making me flustered!
He whispered inside my ear.
Felix: That's the point.
I blushed again.
Katie: God, you are like... Ten times more flirty now, aren't you?
Felix: Good night. Rest well tonight, okay? If anything happens, I'll come to you as soon as I can.
Katie: Why are you telling me this?
Felix: I said I'd guard you, remember? You may know how to take care of yourself, but I still want to protect you no matter what.
Katie: Alright, flirty dummy. Have a good night's sleep too.
I turned around to leave, but he grabbed my wrist, pulled me close to him, and...

Felix: There, now I'll have a good night's sleep.
He left running right after.
Katie: Tch... He's still a jerk.
(Present time)
Pandy: Oh, look at that smile! Someone achieved something today, huh?
Kitty: You look happy, what happened back there with Felix?

Kitty: Katie? Katie, are you there?
Katie: Huh?
Pandy: Alright, you came back to Earth. Now, tell us what happened.
Katie: *blushes* What happened with... What?
Kitty: With all due respect, you are a bad liar.
Pandy: A terrible liar.
I sat and smiled like a dork.
Katie: Well, uhh... Felix liked me back, he confessed to me today, and... We... Kissed.
Pandy: Oh my fucking God...
They both started shouting and jumping like crazy.
Pandy: Katie! I am so happy for you!
Kitty: Yeah, your crush likes you back. Like- How many people find that love on their first try?
Katie: Maybe I was just lucky. But... I really, really, really like him. (*insert a ">//////<" expression*)
Pandy: Hun, we are so happy for you! Right, Kitty?
Kitty: Yeah! Congratulations!
Katie: Hold on... You aren't the depressed Kitty I talked to earlier. What happened to her?
Kitty: Depressed Kitty decided to take a break. I talked to Filip, Baren, and Pandy, and they told me that suffering for a romance is not worth it. Plus, you and Felix are together. Can this get any more amazing?
Pandy: That's the spirit! Now, let's go to sleep, alright? The Factory won't clean itself tomorrow, especially after that mess from today!
Katie: You are right. Okay, good night, girls!
Kitty: Night!
I closed my eyes and the first kiss came to my mind immediately. That magical first kiss that turned my whole world upside down for... Almost a minute.
Then I fell asleep.

A couple of days passed, and everything seemed to be working just great. Kitty was interacting lots with us, Filip and Baren used to go fishing in the mornings so we can have something to eat (even though Pandy and Giraffy preferred vegetables), and Felix was... Kind of clingy lately. He followed me everywhere and was usually holding me. Gotta admit I liked being in his grasp. I felt more comfortable and safe at those moments. Back hugs, tickling, kisses, and some flirting were now a habit between us, and I loved it.
