It was sleeping time, but Pony didn't show up. I was kind of worried about him. What Willow forced him to do was definitely not good at all. I went downstairs and Pony was there, staring at the door.
Felix: Want to leave, huh? Pony: Yeah... Felix: You know? I could've left this place a long ago. Pony: Then why didn't you do it? Felix: Because of Katie. She's strong and all of that, but I want to make sure she's safe. Pony: I was expecting that answer.
I sat down as he sighed.
Pony: At least you still have your rose. Felix: Huh? Pony: You know... Katie is the reason you always want to keep going. Felix: Don't you have one? Pony: I did.

We hugged each other in an uncomfortable way, and then I went upstairs. While entering to my room, I heard Katie's room door opening.
"Hope you'll be able to handle this..."

I saw her eyes when she came to see Willow. She was upset, I noticed that.
Willow: HE... WHAT!? Katie: ... Maybe we shouldn't have done this... Willow: This can't be real... Katie: It is real. Willow: Shut the f*ck up. *sighs* Alright everyone, let's get back to work. Nothing happened here.
After that, she just left. I went right where Katie was.
Felix: Are you alright? Katie: Why did he...? *sighs* I know it was his decision, but couldn't he just... Felix: Katie.
She stopped talking.
Felix: I know it's difficult. But you have to understand him. I'm pretty sure he wasn't just forced to infect that officer. Katie: Yeah, but... Why? Things could get better, but he-
I interrupted her with a hug. She responded to it as well.
Felix: Stop talking about him. Cry if you want to, don't worry. Katie: *sobs* I'm... afraid. I wanted to think everything would get much better soon, but the more time passes... I see... Things are not changing for good. Felix: ...It's not easy, I know. Katie: What if we can't go back now? Felix: Hey. We'll get over this soon. And even if we don't, I promise I'll always be here for you.
She dried her tears, looked at me and smiled.
Katie: T-Thanks, Felix.
We stayed silent for a few seconds.
Katie: Also... Felix: Huh? Katie: Pony said he'll miss you too. Felix: *smiles* Glad to hear that.

The first half is finally over! AAAAAAAA- Also, we have now 2K reads! Thank you guys for the support! Why did I spend too much time writing a chapter which is not even that good? Easy. School.
Anyway, the epilogue for this mid-book will be released this week, as well as the first chapter of the second half! (Which will not have lots of filler. It'll be much better, I promise-)
