James' arms were warm as the couple danced side-stage, Kendall with Jo after they'd made up. It had been exactly what she needed to unwind.

Even more so when he told her the story of him and Carlos babysitting Katie which resulted in both of them getting toys, James' a giant helicopter.

The next day, however, Gwen had been roped into helping Carlos and her idiotic boyfriend steal Big Time Rush's first gold record so they could hear what it sounded like when you played it. Which turned out to be just an old record painted gold and then Gustavo had proceeded to chase James and Carlos throughout the studio with a hammer.

Kendall however had forgotten Jo's birthday, getting the dates mixed up and not being able to afford her present which was a gold necklace. Logan then helped pay for it but then he forgot his and Camille's anniversary and she thought the necklace was for her. Long story short, both girls ended up finding out their boyfriends forgot and ended up splitting the necklace into two bracelets.

Gwen had laughed long and hard at the story. She and James never forgot dates.

They'd just celebrated their two year anniversary.

Celebrating every month seemed silly to them and less of an achievement than staying together for years.

Gwen had taken him on a trip to Disneyland for the day. And she'd never laughed so much in her life, never had a bigger smile.

And James had taken the time to write a song, by himself, just for her.

She'd cried.

That was the nicest thing that anyone had ever done for her.

And what was even better was that James had developed the tendency of humming the song he wrote whenever he was around her. They would be lying on her couch watching movies and he'd just start humming during the ad breaks and she'd fall asleep to the sound of his voice.

Their birthdays weren't too hard either. They were both born on the 4th, just of different months.

Yeah, she really loved that boy.

Though, she sometimes questioned why, an example of that time was when he and the rest of the guys burst into Gustavo's office while the father and daughter were attempting to write a song together, with camping gear on their backs.

"No," Gustavo said instantly as Gwen moved over from the piano in the corner to sit on her father's desk, grinning as the boys burst into protest.

"We just need you to drive us to this really cool camping spot, cos my mom won't," Kendall said as they all smiled again.

"I think she said no for a reason Ken-doll," Gwen smirked but the boys' were more focused on Gustavo as he pretended to think about it.

"No."

"Gustavo, we haven't been camping once since we moved here from Minnesota," James said.

"The call of the wild is calling! And we manly men must answer that call," Logan said, getting murmurs in agreement.

"We need to sleep under the stars, and see the sunrise to the sweet, sweet sounds of the loon," Carlos said, all the boys participating in a gesture.

"There are no loons in LA," Kelly said with a confused look on her face as she walked into the office, the boys with disappointed looks on their faces.

"Just bears," Gwen said, still smirking.

"And I don't want to cancel the next concert because you've been eaten by them," Gustavo added as Kelly stood behind him.
