They yawned themselves awake, simultaneously aware of each other, growing confused about who was who. A skeleton blinked in the dark, light seeping through the gaps between enormous fingers grasping him as a Blaster squinted in the full sun, sitting up amidst a field of red-orange fur.

They glanced down at their bony talons, briefly seeing glistening blue scales in their place before it was gone again. It hurt to think about the implications.
Are we really supposed to be one.. dragon?
𝙸𝚝 𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚍 𝚘𝚏 𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚛𝚎𝚜 𝚖𝚎..
I can't even imagine something like that. We all have our identities. Ga..asyend? Gaasyendietha. Screw it, he's Gas.
He snorted at the awful nickname.
He can't expect us to just ignore the fact that whatever we supposedly used to be directly contradicts who we are as individuals.

You want us to maintain separate identities despite being stuck in the same body?
Sans hesitated.
Technically, it's two. Maybe we can figure out a spare Blaster for you? Based on what happened with you Nappy.. He trailed into deeper thought.
...𝙸𝚝 𝚎𝚡𝚙𝚕𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚜 𝚜𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜, 𝚝𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑.. 𝚍𝚘𝚎𝚜𝚗'𝚝 𝚒𝚝..?
They paused.
..Yeah. A bit. Sans admitted.

You're not seriously thinking about it?
Napstablook didn't reply.

Nappy?

The Blaster snorted, kneading the fur in front of itself.

Neither replied at first, Napstablook's confidence starting to wither.
