((Whenever I focus on Andlátkyn, I tend to completely forget the existence of Skeleghost. I managed to remember it today and decided, what the hell? It's Error's birthday. So here you go, update on a Monday.))

Asriel stood rooted to the spot, staring in shock at the gigantic bird before him, yellow eyes burning a hole into him as it studied him. He felt like a mouse under a hawk's gaze, every breath, every involuntary twitch painfully visible to the eagle that rose maybe four, five times his size with next to no effort.

"ᴀꜱᴋ ᴏꜰ ᴍᴇ ʏᴏᴜʀ Qᴜᴇʀʏ ᴏɴᴄᴇ ᴀɢᴀɪɴ, ʜᴀᴛᴄʜʟɪɴɢ."
It's voice was a series of chirps, trills and low avian noises that he could inexplicably comprehend- something he couldn't help but question how it worked.

With a nervous dry cough, Asriel spoke. "I.. was wondering if you saw a. Dragon? Come through here? Where he might have been heading?"

The avian cocked it's head at him, dinnerplate sized eyes blinking once as it studied every aspect of the winged Dreemur.
"...ᴀ ꜱᴛʀᴀɴɢᴇ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ ꜰʟᴇᴅɢᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ᴀʀᴇ. ʙᴜᴛ ʏᴇꜱ, ɪ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ꜱᴇᴇɴ ᴀ ᴅʀᴀɢᴏɴ. ᴡʜᴀᴛᴇᴠᴇʀ ʏᴏᴜ ꜱᴇᴀʀᴄʜ ꜰᴏʀ ᴀ ᴅʀᴀɢᴏɴ ꜰᴏʀ?"
"I.. I know him. I wanted to make sure he was okay."

"ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ ᴡᴀꜱ ɴᴏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴏꜰ ᴄᴏɴᴄᴇʀɴ ʜᴀᴘᴘᴇɴɪɴɢ ᴛᴏ ꜱᴀᴇᴄꜱʜɪᴜɴ ᴀꜱ ɪ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ꜱᴇᴇɴ." The eagle commented almost boredly, giving him a look.
Asriel winced. ".. Please? I just want to see my friends again."
"ᴛʜᴇɴ ɢᴏ ʜᴏᴍᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴡʜᴀᴛᴇᴠᴇʀ ɴᴇꜱᴛ ʏᴏᴜ ᴍᴀʏ ʜᴀᴠᴇ. ʏᴏᴜ ᴀʀᴇ ᴛᴏᴏ ʏᴏᴜɴɢ ᴛᴏ ᴡᴀɴᴅᴇʀ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴏʀʟᴅ ᴀʟᴏɴᴇ, ᴀɴᴅ ᴀᴍᴏɴɢ ᴏᴜʀ ᴋɪɴᴅꜱ ɪꜱ ɴᴏ ᴘʟᴀᴄᴇ ꜰᴏʀ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴏᴡɴ." A wing gestured back the way he came.

Asriel shook his head. "No, I can't turn back now. I came a really long way. I have to find him. Please. I just want to know where he's going!"
The bird's feathers around their neck and head lifted in irritation as it debated how to respond.

With an annoyed warble, they spoke.
"ᴠᴇʀʏ ᴡᴇʟʟ. ɪᴛ ɪꜱ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴏᴡɴ ᴄᴏɴꜱᴇQᴜᴇɴᴄᴇ, ɴᴏᴛ ᴍɪɴᴇ." It erupted into the sky, wings thudding with each flap, the action jolting the prince into following, albeit confused.

After a few seconds, the bird alighted in a strange depression on the ground, looking like the ground had been broken to pieces and left scattered, like a cave-in.

When he had landed beside them, the eagle nodded sharply and tapped at a shape drawn in the dirt. "ꜱᴀᴇᴄꜱʜɪᴜɴ ᴡᴀꜱ ꜱᴇᴀʀᴄʜɪɴɢ ꜰᴏʀ ᴛʜᴇ ʟᴀɪʀ ᴏꜰ ᴀ ɢʀᴇᴀᴛ ᴏɴᴇ, ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜ ɪ ᴄᴏᴜʟᴅ ɴᴏᴛ ᴘʀᴏᴠɪᴅᴇ ꜱᴜᴄʜ ɪɴꜰᴏʀᴍᴀᴛɪᴏɴ. ꜱᴏ ɪ ɢᴀᴠᴇ ʜɪᴍ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ᴡʜɪᴄʜ ᴍɪɢʜᴛ ʟᴇᴀᴅ ʜɪᴍ ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ ʀᴀɪɴʙᴏᴡ ᴀᴍᴘʜɪᴘᴛᴇʀᴇ."

Tracing out what seemed to be the shape of islands, they continued. "ꜱᴏᴜᴛʜ ᴏꜰ ʜᴇʀᴇ, ᴘᴀꜱᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱᴘᴜʀ ᴀɴᴅ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱᴇᴀ ʟɪᴇꜱ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡʜᴀʟᴇ, ᴀɴ ɪꜱʟᴀɴᴅ. ɴᴏᴛ ꜰᴀʀ ᴘᴀꜱᴛ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ʟɪᴇꜱ ᴅᴀᴍʙᴀʟʟᴀʜ'ꜱ ɪꜱʟᴀɴᴅ, ᴡʜᴇʀᴇ ʜɪꜱ ɴᴇꜱᴛ ꜱʜᴏᴜʟᴅ ʙᴇ ᴄʟᴏꜱᴇ ʙʏ. ᴛʜᴀᴛ ɪꜱ ᴡʜᴇʀᴇ ɪ ꜱᴇɴᴛ ꜱᴀᴇᴄꜱʜɪᴜɴ ᴏɴ ʜɪꜱ ʜᴜɴᴛ ꜰᴏʀ Qᴜᴇᴛᴢᴀʟᴄᴏᴀᴛʟ. ᴅᴏᴇꜱ ᴛʜɪꜱ ꜱᴀᴛɪꜱꜰʏ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴄᴜʀɪᴏꜱɪᴛʏ, ꜰʟᴇᴅɢʟɪɴɢ?"
Asriel stared, thinking.

Something called the Spur? He pondered.
...I.. think that might be.. Tejas I think? Right? It has something called the Spur and is down south by the ocean. Chara suggested hesitantly.
That must be it! We can catch up to Sans by cutting through there!
He nodded eagerly. "Thank you! Thank you so much!" He bounced on his feet while backpedaling, heading southward instead of the slightly westward pull in his Soul.
