((A new comment made me realize I forgot to update this yesterday, I'm so sorry guys.))

The water felt a little more alive, shifting almost imperceptibly slow to a sort of.. vibrance he recognized, but couldn't place. A variety of creatures that hadn't graced the waters in millennia now swarmed, alive and exploring.

It was all coming alive under the blistering sun, the hot waters forcing many beasts to dive deeper to find cooler waters, but the whole sea was slowly broiling as it's former flora and fauna withered.
Yes, it was the humans that did this.

He pushed through the brine, eyeing the fish sheltering in his shade while a great grayish eel emerged from a tunnel in the rock under a reef, followed by a rich, dark violet one. Both creatures twitched and locked their eyes on him, one of them tense with parted jaws.

The seastorm dragon dove down and pushed himself off the rocks to swim nearer.
"Dιҽԃ αɳԃ ɾҽƚυɾɳҽԃ, ƚσ αʂƙ ϝσɾ ƚԋҽ Gɾҽαƚҽɾ? A ʂƚσɾɱ ϝʅιҽɾ σϝ ƚԋҽ Eαʂƚ?" The violet demanded.
"𝐘𝐞𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲, 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐢𝐭. 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲, 𝐈'𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭- 𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐦𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧, 𝐢𝐟 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐈 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐬𝐨 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐭𝐳𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐥 𝐢𝐬."

Pausing, the new eel studied him.
"Wԋαƚ Ⴆυʂιɳҽʂʂ ɯσυʅԃ α ʂҽαʂƚσɾɱ ԋαʋҽ ɯιƚԋ ƚԋαƚ αɱρԋιρƚҽɾҽ?"
"𝐈 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐈'𝐦 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬." He explained.
Twisting in the water and circling him, the other billowed his gills and pondered.

"I ɯιʅʅ ԋҽʅρ αɯαƙҽɳ ƚԋҽ σƚԋҽɾʂ σϝ συɾ ƙιɳԃ αɳԃ ʂρҽαƙ σϝ ყσυɾ ʝσυɾɳҽყ ʂσ ƚԋαƚ ყσυ ɱαყ ƚɾαʋҽʅ υɳԋιɳԃҽɾҽԃ. I ɯιʅʅ Ⴆҽ σϝ ɳσ ϝυɾƚԋҽɾ αʂʂιʂƚαɳƈҽ Ⴆҽყσɳԃ ʂυƈԋ. Gσ, Dɾαɠσɳ ƚԋαƚ Ⴆҽ ɳσƚ. Gσ αɳԃ αɯαƙҽɳ DαɱႦαʅʅαԋ." He decided, turning to swim away.
"мαηу тнαηкѕ." Moyoletic called after him before facing the dragon a little more seriously.

"ωє αяє ησт ƒαя ƒяσм нє ησω. ωнαт ѕнαℓℓ уσυ ∂σ ωнєη уσυ мєєт нє αη∂ нιѕ мαтє?"
He shrugged, hesitant to answer.
"𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰. 𝐈.. 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭. 𝐈 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐞𝐜𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐮𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐦, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐬."

She considered this, unsure.
"ι ѕυρρσѕє тнєяє ιѕ ησ υѕє ιη ωαѕтιηg ωσяяιєѕ υρση ιт вєƒσяє ωє єη¢συηтєя нιм. ωє мυѕт ѕιмρℓу α¢т." At this, she turned and began to swim.

Sans followed, pushing himself along on the coral until there wasn't anymore and then swimming beside her. He tried to ignore the sense that the ocean was alive, something in the water becoming conscious and aware, bleeding into him and flooding his body, twisting as if searching for something inside.
It made him itch, finding it simultaneously familiar and unnervingly alien.

The skeleton resigned himself to keep swimming, Napstablook asleep as Frisk idly commented on the surroundings in quiet boredom.
