Chapter 11

After I'm done cleaning and baking I set two plates of muffins on the table, yelling at Ana to come downstairs.

This is amazing," Roxy sighed biting into the muffin

"I know right," I sighed as the chocolate muffin melts into my mouth

"Is Justin coming over today?" Roxy asked her eyes dancing with excitement

"I think so," I pulled out my phone to send him a text

"He's so hot," Roxy sighs

"Gross! He could be your brother-in-law someday!" I shrieked telling her for the millionth time.

"Could or will?" Justin smirked and I tossed a towel at him laughing

Roxy and Justin had a pretty decent relationship except for her inappropriate thoughts of him being hot or something.

"So?" she rolled her eyes scoffing

My phone buzzed on the table and Justin's name popped on the screen

Justin

I'll be there in an hour xx

"He'll be here in an hour," I told an excited Roxy

"I'll go clean up my room then," She sighed dropping her plate in the sink

"About time," I scrunched my nose up and she turned around throwing me her middle finger

"Hey!" I called after her before standing up to load the dishwasher

About an hour later there's a ding at the door.

"Hey," I grinned throwing my hands around him

"Hello to you too," He murmured

"Come in, we're watching Tall girl,"

"I thought we were watching Extraction," He groaned

"Roxy's watching with us,"

"Oh, she's home?"

"Of course," I moved the blankets to make room to sit

"I made muffins," I announced smiling "I'll go get some,"

I returned with two plates of muffins handing one to him.

"Roxy we're about to start!" I yelled

"I'm coming!" her muffled voice yelled back

I snuggled close to Justin as Roxy marched down the stairs. She squealed on seeing Justin and gave him a big hug.

After our movie which was okay, I and Justin made dinner spaghetti and oven-roasted chicken breast.

"You two look good in the kitchen," Roxy pointed out smiling

"Thanks," Justin smiled amused "We'd definitely be here someday"

"You mean married?" Roxy clarified

"Of course," he beamed back at her and I bumped his shoulder with mine smiling

"Dinner's ready," I announced setting three plates on the island

Once we're all done with dinner I escort Justin outside and bid him goodbye as he gets into his car.

I strolled back inside pondering over the necklace I found around Leon's neck.

...

"Practice today," Coco sang slamming her locker shut

"Of course," I sighed

I changed into my cheerleading outfit while Vivi touched up her make up

"You ready?" I asked her before we walked to the field where we usually practice.

The lacrosse team on one side the Cheerleading on the other, that's how we practiced

"1 2 3!" Coach yelled before blowing her whistle "Captain and assistant captain over here!"

I and Coco jogged over to our coach who was seated on the bleachers a clipboard in hand.

"I need you both to check dressing codes, everyone should be properly dressed, no overly short skirts, and most definitely no bubble gum,"

"Yes coach," we replied in unison

"Jessy, could you roll your skirt down?" I gave her a tight smile and she rolled her eyes before unfolding her skirt

"Rose, bubble gums are not allowed during practices you know that," I held out the trash as she spat the gum into the basket

After an hour of practicing Coach spoke up.

"Alright! Practice is over!" Coach clapped her hands and I jogged over to the bleachers to grab my water.

"Hey babe," Justin appeared next to me sweat trickling from his forehead

"Mhmm," I choked out as the water passed through the wrong pipe. Coughing I sat on the bleachers and Justin rubbed my back

"Are you okay?" He asked me

"I'm fine," I replied breathlessly

"Good," He grins "Do you wanna get some ice cream today?"

"I can't, I have to tutor Lee today,"

"Lee?" He frowned

"Leon," I laughed "His nickname,"

"Oh," he chuckled "'kay then, text me once you get home?"

"Sure dad!" I called out after him laughing

"Is everyone in the car?" Vivi asked, Vivi always drove me home after school along with Ana or sometimes Mel if she wasn't with Connor.

"Yup," Ana replies adjusting her glasses

"Vivi I'm gonna drop at the café,"

"Why?" she frowns

"I have to tutor Lee today,"

"That French guy?" Ana yelled

"Yeah,"

"I can imagine his French accent already," Ana sighed staring off into space

"Hey! Stop making Ri think things like that, she's engaged y'know,"

"What!" I screeched

"Technically," Ana added

"What do you mean? As far as I know, Justin hasn't proposed yet,"

"Does it matter?" Vivi sighed "You guys are getting married anyways,"

"Very true," I nodded "But still,"

"No buts," Ana tutted

"Whatever, see you guys tomorrow," I unfastened my seat belt hopping out of the car 

...

"Favourite colour?" I asked Lee

"Don't have one," He shrugged laughing "Yours?"

"Pink and grey," I beamed "Favorite sport since you don't play lacrosse,"

"If I did have to pick a favourite sport, Mon Amie it would be basketball,"

"Vraiment? J'aime le basket mais je ne peux pas jouer,"

"Well...I'm going to have to teach you then," he grinned and I tapped the pencil on his head

"Let's get back to work," I replied smiling

Lee told me he had learned English in France but he didn't know a couple of big words and he had problems in English class too.

I give Lee a big hug before walking away and turning around "See you tomorrow?"

"Sure thing, Peanut," He laughed waving me off

I shook my head hailing a taxi before heading home.
