Standing there, trying to find the words to say as the harsh rain continued beating against his body with the thunder shaking the ground beneath his feet, Kairo wanted so desperately to act on his sudden arousal. His dick seemed to have been taunting him or maybe it was confirming what his uncle had told him and what he had already known. But this wasn't the right moment but how could he deny her beauty?
There she stood, bare face as her toffee-tinted skin glowed heavenly under the moon's glare. The way her pretty brown almond-shaped eyes bore into his, gnawed at his anxiously beating heart. Her mesmerizing eyes sat perfectly under her naturally arched brows and complimented her beautiful heart-shaped face. Kairo knew that what he was feeling was real but he was too afraid to accept things.
She meant so much to him but he couldn't rid the guilt and shame for doing her so wrong. Although they never dated, he still understood why she felt so played and betrayed by him. But damn did he missed her. He messed up but he wanted to show her that he would try to right his wrongs if she gave him the opportunity.
"What are you doing here?" Kelly finally asked a bit annoyed that the rain was getting on her.
"I um... can I come in... please?" he hopelessly asked.
Wanting to decline but also not wanting to force him to drive in the storm that has been the talk of the news for a few days, Kelly stepped back, still hugging the side of the front door as he stepped over the threshold.
"Shoes off... please," she mumbled.
Doing as told, Kairo removed his soaked sneakers and placed them behind the door then looked around awkwardly.
Kelly stared at the water dripping from his clothes and mentally rolled her eyes before walking away, "Come on."
Slightly taken by surprise, Kairo followed her through the dim foyer and up the stairs as a soft scent of cinnamon rolls filled the air. No words were exchanged between the two as they headed up. Making it to her bedroom, Kelly hit the switch on her way inside and the sweet scent had heightened, letting Kairo know that it was coming from her bedroom. His eyes roamed the area for a bit until his eyes landed on her illuminating candle warmer that rested on her desk.
Kairo forgot how much she loved buying different scented wax melts just to have her bedroom and house smelling like some bakery shop. Other than him missing her, he missed coming to her house to find out what the home would smell like that day.
"Here," Kelly cut into his thoughts as she handed him a folded shirt and pair of joggers before walking toward her bed, "You left those," she muttered as she sat with her legs folded under her.
"Can I um... can I clean up right quick?"
Shrugging, Kelly moved back on the bed and laid down, "Gotta wash that sex off of you, huh?"
With one foot touching her bathroom floor, Kairo glanced over at her slowly, "I didn't sleep with anyone."
"Mmm," she rolled her eyes, picking up her tv remote, and pressed play on Pretty Little Liars.
As the time progressed, the lightning had stopped but the thunder was still going as was the heavy rain and loud winds. Usually, thunderstorms scared Kelly but lately, they seem to mellow her out and put her into a relaxing state of mind. During Kairo's shower, she used the little time she did have to think about a few things. Like the way she would fuss him out. The way that she would make him feel how much he had hurt and disappointed hurt. The way that she would tell him how much of a dog he was and how selfish he had been just because he couldn't stop himself from having sex.
She planned out a way of how she would tell him how stupid and absurd he had been. And how careless he was for sleeping with so many women just because he could. There was so much that she planned to say but the moment he reemerged into her bedroom, her brewing rage quickly withered and curiosity and concern arose as he just sat at the foot of the bed staring at her carpet looking like a defenseless puppy.
