On July 17th at 5:15 in the morning, Neela Destiny Stone-Hunter came into this world weighing seven-pound, eight ounces. Reign and Kaari were just going over things for their website when her water broke and Kaari practically lost her mind and had a heart attack. The Goonies came running into the kitchen, ready to attack until they realized Reign was going into labor and poor Kaari was speaking words none of them, not even Reign could understand.
The family wasted no time rushing over and the sweet, enjoying to be pregnant version of Reign went out the window with each contraction. The entire situation was hilarious to King, Dajon, and the rest of the family but poor Yae'Shawn really thought she meant it when she told him that she would never give him another child.
With Ary and Renae coaching her, Ava and the midwife talking her through things, hours later, she was pushing out her baby girl. Reign cried like she's never cried before and the moment Yae'Shawn held their daughter, his ears became numb to the world as he stared at her. Each family member consciously made a vow to protect her and love on her the way they deserved. King couldn't stop the tears from coming and wasn't ashamed as he held his first grandchild and caressed her soft skin.
The world was full of so much evil but that morning, none of that mattered to anyone.
It was August the 6th, it's been a few weeks since Neela came into the world and the family was still on a high. Kaari was more than ready to have her baby and wanted to find out what she was having but liked the element of surprise. She figured that she and Reign not having the chance to read the results with the family was a sign not to. She had a feeling about what she was having and already had names picked out for either way it went.
They spoke with the Goonies about moving back home, of course, Daewon didn't want to because he enjoyed having his fun in Atlanta but he admitted that it was in the twins best interest to be closer to home being that they played basketball and traveled for games. Tamir didn't have any ill thoughts about it, Kaari had been bringing it up a few times but he was waiting on her to come right out and tell him that she wanted to move back.
Of course, he brought up her kids at the school and her dancing class, but home was where her heart was set, and he respected it. As did Yae'Shawn when Reign told him. They had planning to do, but right now, their focus would be set on focusing on their family.
"If it's one thing I hate, it's shopping at freaking Walmart," stressed with how packed the store was, Ava and Kayla maneuvered through the crowd until they got to the electronic section.
"I told you to let's go to Target," Kayla snickered, opening her bag of Twizzler.
"You and Michelle always trick me into buying dat store out, nope," Ava stared at the flatscreen tv and pursed her lips, "Do I really wanna pay four hundred for dis?"
"Nope," Kayla turned her around and Ava laughed. Kayla and Michelle knew that Ava was all about deals, savings, and coupons. They knew she had money but was inspired by how smart Ava was about her funds.
"I do need a new tv for my room tho," she attempted to turn around but Kayla nudged her toward the laptop section.
"You need a new laptop and printer for your orders, the tv can wait... unless you wanna buy it for me?" Kayla grinned and Ava laughed.
"Let's look at these laptops."
"Mm-hmm," biting into the Twizzler, Kayla walked around the long display table and looked through the many options.
"What I really need is a new iPad for my sketches," Ava looked around until she found the iPad area, "Come on, we'll come back."
"Six hundred dollars for this HP... girllllll."
