"Babe, back up," Renae whispered to King, realizing that his evil thoughts were about to overpower him.

"I'm just waiting on tha' nigga to shake my hand," King smirked, still eyeing a taken aback Lucky.

"My fault," Lucky cleared his throat and shook King's hand but when he tried to pull away, King tightened his grip.

"Daddy," Ava stressed.

"Name?" King stepped forward.

"Lucky," Lucky answered, trying to pull his hand back but King tightened his grip.

"Lucky?" King rose a brow, trying to recall where he heard the name from.

"Yeah... can I have my hand back OG?" Lucky queried.

Ava stepped to the side and stared at Lucky confused, "Do... you know him?"

"Don't answer dat," King eyed Lucky as he released his hand then turned to Ava, "Wassup?"

Still staring at Lucky confused, Ava shook off her thoughts and stared at her father and smiled, "Hi Daddy."

King smiled innocently as he hugged her.

"Be nice," she whispered.

"I am," he chuckled.

While Renae tried to make sure King hadn't scared Lucky away, King and Ava headed into the living room where Dajon was already waiting.

"Miracle baby," Dajon smirked.

"Hey Uncle D.J,"

"Aw come on," he laughed, standing, "You knew this day was coming," he embraced her, "We'll be nice."

"Mm-hmm," she squinted at him then sat next to King.

Lucky and Renae joined the trio shortly after. Renae sat in the center, Lucky sat to the right of her but kept his eyes on Ava and Dajon decided to stand.

"So..." Renae clasped her hands together and laughed awkwardly, "Should I start?"

Everyone remained quiet.

"Alrighty," she pursed her lips then turned towards Lucky and smiled at him, "First, how are you?"

Lucky chuckled softly; he appreciated her wanting to break the ice. "I'm cool, you?"

"Nervous," she pretended to whisper and the group laughed. "Good," she smirked, "You're twenty-five?"

"I am," he stared at her.

"I'ma ask something but you can say pass if you don't want to reply, fair?" She said and he nodded.

"Do you sell drugs?"

Ava hid her face behind King, "Jesus."

"I don't," Lucky answered honestly.

King slid forward and Renae pretended not to notice but Lucky caught it.

"Have you ever sold drugs?" Renae queried.

"I haven't," he answered honestly again.

Renae nodded then discreetly glanced over at King before staring at Lucky then tapped under her eye, "How'd you get the scar?"

Lucky flexed his jaw momentarily then cleared his throat, "Got cut while I was locked up."

Dajon folded his arms and glanced at his brother-in-law wanting to make sure they were on the same page.

"Oh..." Renae flashed a smile then chuckled, "Why did you get locked up?"

"Pass," Lucky diverted his gaze to his knuckles.
