It was 5 years later. Time has changed. The seasons came and gone as did people. With his parents troublesome separation, 19-year-old Kairo was growing into the man he once aspired to be like; his father. But just because he looked and moved like hi...
"It's the bawdy for me! It's the face for me! It's the glow for me! Girlllll, look at you looking like you looking! What you been doing sis?" Ary playfully asked Renae after taking a couple of pictures for her.

Renae woke up one day and felt the need to go on vacation. With so much she had been through and the many life-changing things she's accomplished as far as business and her kids, she wanted to treat herself and decided to bring Ary and Ayanna along. Whereas Ary flew with Renae, Ayanna told them she would meet them there, that was a day ago.
"I've been appreciating the little things in life, that's all," Renae said, gazing at the water as the gentle breeze blew.
Ary stood next to her and remained quiet for a moment before speaking, "Is this really it for you two?" She knew that Renae wasn't fond of speaking about her separation but Ary had hoped that some way, they would work things out.
Renae was silent for a while then shrugged, "Sometimes I miss him but that's normal."
"It is," Ary nodded. "You've been with him for two and a half decades... regardless of history, you two basically aged together. It's normal for you to miss him."
Renae lifted her shades. She wanted to tell Ary about how difficult it could get for her to sleep during the night but she didn't want her or anyone to think that she couldn't function outside of King. It wasn't every night but on the nights where she would randomly think about King, she would be up until dawn just staring at the ceiling.
She taught herself how to un-love him but she knew there would always be a part in her that would hold a place for him, no matter how many ways she tried to convince herself otherwise.
"Anyways," Renae popped her gum, "I wanted us to have fun, so let's have some fun, I'm ready to eat!"
"When I told her we were having a girls trip, that didn't mean bring a plus one... who the fuck is that?" A now annoyed Renae asked Ary as they watched Ayanna laugh with some brown skin guy, who seemed comfortable with his arm around her.
"I have no clue... is she stupid? If Kwan catches a picture of her with him, we're all dead," Ary muttered then plastered on a smile when the two approached their table.
"Heyyy!"
Renae put her shades on and picked up the menu, not even acknowledging the guy when he extended his hand.
"Um..." Ary began then cleared her throat, "Who is this?"
Ayanna laughed, "An old friend, we ran into each other at the hotel."
Ary glanced at Renae and could her staring daggers into the mystery man through her shades.
"I'm Matt," he extended his hand to Ary but just like Renae, Ary only stared at him then cut her eyes to Ayanna, "This vacation was just supposed to be us three, don't get us caught up in no messy shit, Yanna."
