Lois Lane's Condominium | Metropolis, New York

Welp... Lois and I have successfully managed to postpone the planning of our wedding in light of relatively recent events. Bridgette's father is dead, we just found out she has powers, her custody is up in arms for now because her mother is behind bars, and I have no intention on saying one word to the League about it until we get a solid handle on at least the powers aspect of the situation.
So we're in Lois' living room, as Bridgette's been staying here, in Lois' condo for the past few weeks, and we've already helped her prepare for school on Monday. And I'm in my uniform, because I've just gotten back from a rescue. Then I hear a heartbeat behind me, and I startle. I look behind me, and it's Bruce.
"Dammit, Batman, stop doing that!" I say.
Lois and Bridgette turn around, and Lois says to Bruce, "Jesús Cristo, ayúdame. What is your issue with breaking and entering, you psycho?! Why can't you just use the door? At least pretend to be normal."
"'Evening, Lois. Ms. Olivieri. Clark, we need to talk," says Bruce, completely disregarding what Lois just said.
"What about?" I ask.
"How's about the active meta you guys have living with Lois," says Barry, streaking in through the closed front door, and setting Diana down. "Good God, Diana, you're heavy."
"Seriously, what is with you people and knocking?!" says Lois, a little more than annoyed, "What do you guys have against doors?!"
"Shoulda' told us, Clark," says Hal, materializing in with the rest of the senior staff.
"When this is over, we need to have a serious, serious discussion about a little something us normal people call boundaries," scoffs Lois, turning back around in her seat.
"Wait," says Bridgette, "so is, like, no one going to acknowledge the fact that the Batman knows who I am?"
"He's Batman, kid," says Hal. "He's spooky, but you learn to deal with it."
"Right..." says Bridgette.
"Kara?" I say to my cousin, my displeasure apparent on my face.
"I'm sorry, Kal," says she, "I tried to stop them. And I tried to tell them you knew what you were doing, but they don't listen to me like they do you."
"She's untrained, Clark," says Bruce, bringing my attention back to him.
"Of course she's untrained," I shoot back. "Lois and I talked to Bridgette about this. I was actually going to take her to the Fortress, tomorrow. Have her checked out, have her gauged. I have the situation handled."
"Then explain the intense electrical surge and the cascading power failure that the Watchtower picked up in this building a few weeks ago. Because I know that wasn't you."
"Bridgette had just lost her daddy, and she was in grief. What do you want?" I ask, now really irritated.
"For her to not short-circuit an entire building just because someone close to her is dead! What's next? She causes an entire block to go dark because she loses her mother? Clark, until the girl gets a better grasp on herself and what she can do, she's a danger to herself and to the two of you. Even more to Lois."
I look at Bridgette, and she's on the verge of tears. "This was a conversation that we could've had somewhere else, and at a later time," I say to all of them. "Now, while I try to talk her down, I think it'd be best if y'all just leave."
"But, Clark," Bruce starts, and I clip the conversation, here and now.
"Get out, Bruce," I say, serious as a heart attack.
