Chapter 69

Four months later...

It has been four months since Ryan and I got out of the coma.
Ryan has got his memory back. And I can't tell how happy I was when I saw him the first time after we woke up from the coma.
Alex brought me to Ryan's room in a wheelchair and when I saw those priceless expressions on Ryan's face when his eyes met mine, at that moment I felt a rollercoaster of emotions. His face glistened by seeing me and his eyes started pouring tears. Alex moved me near his bed and I held his hand with tears forming in my eyes. He gripped my hand tightly and kept looking at me.

We both were staring at each other and shedding uncontrollable tears. Our emotions were so strong that we didn't need words to describe to each other about our feelings.
I slowly whispered, "Ray."

The already plastered smile on his face grew big and he kissed the back of my hand, "Yes, Jenn."

At those mere moments, I felt the peace and calmness which my soul always wandered for. I saw pure emotions in his eyes, which were showing his inner self that how pure he is from inside.
When Alex told me that Ryan asked about me just as he regained his consciousness, I couldn't hold myself anymore. I asked Alex to take me to him as soon as possible. And he did.

Ryan asked, "How are you feeling Jenn?"

I smiled and said, "Same as you."

He gave me a shy smile.
Still, his face was pale and he was weak but the only thing that provided satisfaction to my heart is that he is safe and got his memory back.

We all have been through a lot these past months specifically Alex and Aiden.

I saw the same deep emotions in Alex's eyes too when he came to meet me after my mom. His face depicted that how deeply affected he was because of my health. I can't imagine how deeply all of them got hurt when they saw us in such a state. My mother would have been really heartbroken to see me like this.
But they all took care of us and never left the hope that we can make it, which is really appreciable. They stayed together like a family at this hard time.

When I told Alex that it was Adele who did all this to me he truly burned with anger and called the police. I know he is a gentleman, no matter how angry he is he will never let her hands on a woman. So he called the police and we filed a case against her. As Ryan and I both were eyewitnesses so she got sentenced to 5 years of prison for a murder attempt. Well, that is what she deserved.

After I practically moved on to Ryan's house. Alex was also living there and my mom used to come to meet me every weekend.
I also got to know that Ryan's mother was my mother's friend and Ryan was also happy by knowing this.
When I told my mom that I was actually dating Ryan her expression changed dramatically but she didn't say anything. I don't know why she tries to avoid talking to or about Ryan.
Sometimes I find it strange. But maybe I am just overthinking.

Well soon with time we started going back to our normal routine. Doctors told us bed rest for one month and all the boys didn't let us take a leg out of our room. Well, I and Ryan are sharing one room. We can't manage to stay away from each other anymore.

We got better with time and after one month we started going to college. We missed so many things during this time and we needed to work really hard to catch up on that. Alex gave his notes to me and helped me with all the others material.
