With those mixed feelings in my head I got my attention back to where I was sitting, that is when I realised that Aiden and James were also sitting here all the time.
I looked at them and found them staring at me with an aww expression.
There was no confusion, no anger nothing just a small smile on their faces.

I tried to explained, "I umm.. she .... actually.... my knuckles....were bruised...so...."

Aiden cut me off ,"Yeah, we know that. You were injured so she helped you, right? Nothing special in that."

I nodded,"Yeah. Right."

James added, "Yeah, and afterall she had a boyfriend. She was just helping you to repay your favour. That's it."

I don't know my heart clenched by hearing that she did this just to repay me .

But I changed the topic and left from the canteen.

But still that thought was pinching me that she just did this to repay me nothing else. She doesn't feel the same way I do. She doesn't feel the pull towards me like I do.
She is happy in her own life and here I cannot get her out of my damned mind.

Alex asked me as soon as we left the canteen,"What was happening inside Jennie?"

I replied excitedly,"You don't know what happend. I was sitting there after you left and I came to know that his hand was injured, so I went towards him and held his hand to see his injuries. And you won't believe me that he let me do that, he didn't pushed me off. Then Aiden brought first aid box and I treated his wounds. And you know how he got injured , he overheard some girls talking nonsense about me then he warned them and to scare them more he punched the wall behind them. Seriously he did this for me. And when I was cleaning his bruised hand then he shouted at the people gazing at us and I accidentally flinched by suddenly hearing him then he softly whispered to me that he didn't mean to scare me. And when I was applying antiseptic to his wounds he was quietly sitting there. And I also noticed him Smiling. Isn't it amazing?"
I exclaimed happily.

He replied in a plain voice,"Yes it is a nice progress. I think likewise he will soon get back his memory."

I only hummed in response.

I think something is wrong with Alex. He is behaving so strange from couple of days.

After that we headed to our class together.

The day passed just like that. I didn't see Ryan after the canteen incident , but Aiden and James told me that Ryan seemed so happy after that.

Right now Alex and I are in his car on way back to my home.
He had been quite all day and not even telling me the reason behind this. I asked him several times , he just said that he is having headache.
But I don't know why I feel like this is not the truth.

He cleared his throat and said,"Jennie listen."

I hummed.

He momentarily closed his eyes ans then continued, "You should ask Ryan more about his past life when he will meet you at night. And you should take his mobile number also and save your number in his phone too. This will help him to keep your memories and also click pictures in his phone."
