Chapter 15

Stream of tears falling down my eyes continuously.
Those ugly and dreadful moments now came back to my mind and repeatedly haunting me.
The face of that monster was now taunting me in my mind, that today also he has such power over me.

My head was on Ray's chest.
He was repeatedly stroking his hand on my hair.

After some time he lifted my head and swept the tears away. But again more tears fell down my eyes.
He swept them too and then cupped my face.
I lifted my head, but couldn't see anything due to darkness.
I can only feel his touch. My warm skin was burning again in his cold hands. But it was soothing.
His both hands held my cheeks and wiped my tears with his thumbs.

He finally said, "Jenn, listen to me carefully. That was past. The thing that happened in past is in past now. It has no control over your present. Don't let it affect your present. I am with you now and you are a brave girl. Don't cry. It is now his time to cry."

His words entered straight into my heart and induced a kind of relief and strength within me. He made me feel strengthened.
If someone else would have been in his place that he would surely have shown pity on me, but he didn't do that.
He rather supported me, understood me and encouraged me to not let past events ruin my present.
He is really exceptional.

He said, "Did you understand what I said?"

I nodded.

He said dramatically, "I can't hear."

I knew he was doing this on purpose now, to lighten my mood.

Instead of answering, I moved closer to his face, intending to kiss him.
It was like shooting an arrow in dark.
But luckily my lips landed on his lips.

This time I didn't let him overpower me. As soon as he opened his mouth I stroked my tongue inside his mouth and kissed him so passionately.
I sucked his lips like there is no end.
He was trying to match my pace but I was dominant now. He was just reciprocating my moves.
I was feeling relaxed now. All those unwavering thoughts vanished from my mind. All I can think about is, his amazing lips.

After some time when I was out of breath, I parted from him.
He chuckled and said, "You like kissing me, don't you?"

I blushed.

He then kissed my forehead and said, "We should head back home now. It is quite late now."

That is when I came back to my conscious mind.

Damn...
I have to go to the cafe in the morning then I have to go to college!!!
When will I sleep and when will I wake up...

I quickly stood up from his embrace and said hurriedly, "Yeah!!! Let's go now. I have to go to the cafe at 5 in the morning."

He stood up too and we went towards the car.
When we sat inside the car he had worn his mask again.

I wished if I could see his face.

I didn't remember when I slept in the car.
My day in the morning wasn't good, even it was worse than worst because of Ryan but the evening was so enjoyful because of Ray.
I couldn't believe that I was so comfortable in his presence.
He knew the deepest secret about me which no one else knows. I feel a strange relaxation when I am with him. He never judges me nor shows pity on me. These kinds of people are hard to find in today's world.
While thinking all this my vision blacked out and drifted to sleep.
