She's Back

"Oh my god, she did not!" Amanda exclaimed.

Kendall shook her head in disbelief. "I mean why would Rose do that?"

Chloe and Zoe started turning the other way. "You did not!" Amanda and Kendall exclaimed in unison at Chloe and Zoe.

They turned around, slowly. Zoe looked down as Chloe sighed. "Rose was with us and she said she was going to a small party with Sam and Bill and then they saw Jenny. Jenny and Sam went off somewhere and they haven't been seen since that party last night."

Kendall exhaled loudly, and looked around the hallway, nervously. "So, Sam is missing and Jenny is back? But she's missing too?"

Chloe nodded, as she wiped her hands on her pants nervously. Amanda's eyes widened and she shook her head in shock. "How can Jenny be back? It's been four freaking months since she left."

Zoe whispered to Chloe making her roll her eyes. "Amanda, I'm sorry about Sam. I know you liked him and Jenny had to ruin it and make both of them disappear."

Kendall's phone buzzed in her hand, and she checked who is was:

Hey Kendall! Sam gave me your number... I was just wondering if maybe you could help me after school today for my algebra test on Thursday?
-Bill

Kendall squealed in excitement and felt her face flush. "Bill just texted me!"

Amanda grabbed her phone out of her hands. "Shut up! Bill Remain? Gorgeous. Tall. Gorgeous. Brunette. Dreamy eyes. Bill?"

Kendall rolled her eyes. "Yes. Is it that unbelievable? I mean we're not losers. People know our names and talk to us."

Amanda shrugged, and tucked a piece of blonde hair behind her ear, awkwardly. "Well we're not in Bill's league."

Chloe chirped in.  "Zoe and I have to go meet Rose for chemistry."

The two hurried away, suspiciously.

They started to walk to social studies when their phones both went off in unison:

Game time, girls.

Both girls stared at each other in confusion.

Suddenly a chillingly familiar voice rang out. "Amanda! Kendall!"

Jenny jogged up to them, embracing them in a friendly hug.

Kendall chuckled giving Amanda a knowing glance, smiling. "Thank god, Jenny. I was worried for two reasons; reason one: I was afraid you were actually missing and two: that a strange creep was just texting us. But don't worry, I know it was you."

They chuckled. Jenny chuckled along. Suddenly the smile vanished. "I'm gonna be late for science!" She jogged away from them.

She eyed Amanda, slowly. "Don't you think it's weird that Jenny left four months ago without giving anyone any word or contact and then suddenly comes back the last month of school?"

Amanda nodded. "Yeah well, we should get to social studies."

On the way to class, they ran into Rose, looking like she was in a hurry. Rose stopped in front of them. "Hey guys, do you know where Sam is?"

She watched Amanda stiffen, uncomfortably. "Why?"

Rose fidgeted, nervously. "Um well we we-"

Kendall cut in before she could stutter anymore. "We just talked to Jenny. We're heading to social studies and Sam is in our class. I thought that you were meeting Zoe and Chloe for chemistry?"
