Optimus, quite frankly, was tired of the negativity on base. Sounded harsh but it was true, everyone was tired from sadness; there was a pregnant femme in a human medbay pregnant and will never see her child being born or live to see anything, there was Sunstreaker who was protective of her and it was obvious he was falling in love with the human
Then there was Sophia who was in this deep slumber and her body had fallen ill, both Ironhide and Chromia were worrying out of their minds for their sparkling.
Optimus sighed laying his head down on the steering wheel, what he was about to do made him feel like he was abandoning his friends during their time of need. However the others assured him to leave and spend time with Estelle, it had been some time since they had seen each other and they could tell it was affecting Optimus
He checked his messages just to make sure Estelle was ready for their first date, this date was going to be a long 2 week of a date. He needed a break and so did Estelle. Everyone was just overstressed from everything in general.
He honestly couldn't wait. He drove out of base and drove toward Chicago, it was a little far but Estelle was spending time with her grandmother. He didn't mind the travel, in fact he was enjoying himself cruising softly along the road
He pulled up to a small cottage; flowers, butterflies and other coloured plants surrounded the small building. It was a nice home, a lovely home.
Should Optimus spend the rest of his lifetime on Earth then it would be in a place like this with Estelle, having little children of his running around giggling and laughing.
That warmed his spark picturing little him's and little Estelle's running around.
He smiled brightly seeing Estelle coming out wearing a beautiful dress and a suitcase in hand, his spark fluttered and jumped seeing her so beautifully dressed.

His eyes sparkled and everything bad that recently happened left him seeing his shining star, he quickly jumped out to greet her. He walked up to her, his soft loving smile never leaving his face, gently cradled her hand and kissed the knuckles. She blushed "Hey OP, I missed you" she admitted with her blush darkening further
He chuckled, finding her blush adorably cute, "I missed you too" his hand gently caressed her cheek, his eyes full of love. Yes, Optimus Prime had fallen head over heels for Estelle.
The two got into his truck and drove away from Chicago heading further away from base towards Forks, Washington (No, Twilight is not in this story). The drive was tiringly long but worth it, he would look every so often to find her sleeping, it made his spark warm, buzz or flutter. He couldn't get enough of it
He pulled off the road into the woods, now in Forks, after driving for hours and started slowing down in order to adapt to the bumpy road. He pulled over to their Hotel and got out heading inside, he got the keys to their rooms and got into the truck driving further into the woods. He pulled over again finding their new living space and softly shook Estelle
