LISSA'S POV.
"Look where you are going, you insect." Duke Rayland sneered.
"I'm sorry sire." I bowed my head and back paddled.
Good thing he was in hurry to meet the king or he would had my head for nearly colliding with him.
I sighed and changed my direction towards the kitchen. Jephrey was walking in the direction of kitchen too but unlike me, he was fully aware of his environment and wasn't daydreaming.
"Hey Jep."
"Hey Liss."
"Are you okay? I saw you near collide with that stupid Duke."
"Yeah I'm okay. I was just a little bit distracted, that's all."
" Don't lie to me. You were day dreaming. Again. While working."
"No, I was no. I told you I was just.."
"Stop bickering you two and get your ass moving. Lots of work to do." Milo shouted from the kitchen.
Milo was the head of the kitchen and he raised us both but that doesn't mean he would talk to us in any better way than that.
"Okay" we both grumbled.
