CAMERON'S POV.
The berries tasted like heaven on earth. My tongue felt like it had been bathed in a tub of flavors. it felt so good and relaxed and numb.
Wait a minute. why does my tongue feel numb?
I tried moving my tongue around my mouth but it felt so heavy.
"Um, Lissa. I think we got a problem."
She looked at me and "Holy Mother..."
My legs gave up and darkness began to cloud my vision. I felt her hands on my shoulders as she tried to balance my weight but our positions made it impossible for her to do much.
"I got you, Cameron. Don't worry."
Her voice was the last thing I heard before the darkness took me under her sweet slumber.
