Lissa's pov.

I asked for the best weapon the kingdom could give me and the king agreed to it.

We were ordered to wait till the sunrise as general was supposed to accompany me.

I was moving towards my room to pack my belongings, lost in thoughts of my life or the rest of my life I have left to live and was suddenly dragged aside.

I kicked the person who has grabbed me and heard a familiar voice.

"Ouch Liss."

"Jeph, what the hell are you doing?" I jabbed his abdomen, quite forcefully.

"Will you stop wounding me? It hurts."

"No,I won't" I jabbed him once more.

He tried to catch my hand but I was faster then him.

"Enough with the games Liss."

I laughed at his tone. He thought I enjoyed the whole experience but what he doesn't know is that I'm savoring these last moments with him.

"Games? What games? I'm not playing any games."

"You think I don't know you? I know you have some plan brewing in your head. You were always so..."

I laughed and laughed and laughed until tears coated my cheeks.

And then I started sobbing.

All the incidents in my life were bad.

My mother left me.

My father left me.

I grew without any money or proper food.

And now I was willingly walking towards my death.

"Are you okay? Lissa, have you lost your mind?"

I wipped the tears and smiled sadly at him.

I really didn't had any plan. I had already played all my cards.

It was just matter of time before the fate played it's card.

But I had to savor these moments with my Jeph.

The leaned forward and kissed him lightly.

"I'll miss you"

And then I turned and walked out.

That was the only farewell I'll allow myself.

"Goodbye" I whispered but no one was there to hear me.

Hey readers.
