Dottie went out of her room after dressing up for the day. She walked around the house seeing no sight of anyone "this is not what I signed up for" Mr Jarvis yelled from outside making her turn her head and made her way outside
Dottie saw Anna looking at her husband who's chasing a flamingo with a huge smile making Dottie's eyes widen. Howard walked towards Dottie with his arms around her shoulder "meet my new pet Bernard" Howard grins looking at his flamingo then at Dottie
"Pet? are you insane? you could have just get a cat or dog" Dottie looked at Jarvis almost tripping making her sigh and shake her head "c'mon you wanna play with him?" Howard asked pulling her with him towards the flamingo
"No, absolutely not!" Dottie quickly responds removing Howard's arm around her "why? look at him though he's fun" Howard answered looking at Dottie seeing her looking at the flamingo with wide eyes and gulping making him chuckle
"Don't tell me your scared of flamingos" Howard teased "AHHHHH HOWARD" she yelled pulling Howard in front of her as her shield when the flamingo started running towards her making Howard laugh as he watch Dottie keep yelling and trying to run away from the flamingo
"oh fuck off" Dottie punched him on his shoulder while he holds his stomach dying in laughter "that... that was so hilarious" Howard spoke between his laughter before Dottie walked back inside rolling her eyes
"Mr Jarvis" Dottie called as she went out of her room late at night wondering where Howard is "Mr Jarvis" she called again seeing him on the living room standing by the window looking outside
Jarvis closed his eyes and bites his lip nervously hoping she would go away "Mr Jarvis where's Howard" she asked walking towards him while he fiddles with his fingers hearing her footsteps towards him
Dottie crossed her arms on her chest as she stood behind Jarvis who kept his eyes closed nervously "Mr Jarvis" Dottie called again but in much louder voice "AHH" Jarvis flinched and turned around facing her with a nervous smile
"Ah Miss Aimsworth, I didn't know you were there" Jarvis smiled looking down at the woman in front of him "where's Howard" she asked. "Mr Stark is asleep on his room Miss Aimsworth" Jarvis rubs his ear looking around the room avoiding her gaze "I already checked the whole house Mr Jarvis, I didn't even saw a shadow of the kid" Dottie replied
"Uh well maybe he's on the gard-" Jarvis tried explaining only to get cut off by her "Mr Jarvis where is Howard" Dottie asked once again taking a few steps towards him "he went out to drink four hours ago" Jarvis explained "four hours ago? he's going to be a mess again when he gets home" Dottie groaned walking towards the couch and sat in there to wait for Howard
"Miss Aimsworth I'm sure he'll be home soon, why don't you go rest it's getting late" Jarvis suggested looking at Dottie who sat on the couch for an hour now as she sips her coffee "Mr Jarvis I'll be fine, go rest" Dottie smiled at him before he said his goodnight and left her alone on the living room
"Am I in the right house?" Howard asked himself as he entered his house looking around before spotting Dottie sat on the couch with her eyes closed "oh I'm at the right house" he grins walking towards her "Good morning!" he yelled waking her up
Dottie opened her eyes seeing Howard looking down at her with his charming smile "Good morning to my lovely assistant" Howard greeted sitting next to her "Howard stop yelling its three in the morning" Dottie groaned as Howard looked around before letting out a sigh
"God how I miss my parents, life would have been much better if they're still here" Howard muttured looking down making Dottie look at him with sad eyes thinking that he drank his sadness away by drinking alcohol. She reached for his hand and intertwined it with hers making him look at her
"I've been alone for five years Dottie, I made weapons, made friends, slept around with every woman I would like to. My life has been a complete disaster for five years, until I had you, you made me happy again Dottie. You have no idea how I always think about how lucky I am to have you on my side everyday" Howard explained with tears on his eyes
Dottie scoots closer to him and placed both of her hands on his cheeks before wiping his tears that ran down his cheeks "I got you, I'll alway be here I promise you" she smiled at him as he placed a hand on hers and closed his eyes sighing. She pulled him into a hug rubbing his back, he hugged her back pulling her closer to him
Dottie kept rubbing his back as tears slowly filled her eyes feeling the his sadness. She never thought that she would see the man who never loses his energy and full of humors that made the peoples love him more and a man who can make a women fall inlove without even saying a word so broken and full of sadness
"Howard c'mon I'll bring you to your room" Dottie suggested only for him to shake his head and hold tighter into her "please stay with me, I really need you right now" he mumbled as she replied with a nod and slowly leans back to the couch with Howard's head on her chest both their arms still wrapped around each other
