"I never thought you would retire" Howard spoke walking towards Dottie as she stepped inside while Jarvis brought her things on her room. "so do I, but I think it's time for me to tap out you know and maybe try to find something else to do now"  Dottie responds

Howard opened his arms for her as he sat down. She sat on his lap straddling him with their arms wrapped around each other "Steve?" Dottie asked wondering if he saw any sign. Letting out a deep breath Howard shook his head and buried his head on her neck "we both know what that means" she mumbled sadly rubbing the back of his head "anyways. Wanna look at my new baby?" Howard asked changing the subject looking at her "what did you made again" she asked rolling her eyes "who said I made anything? I found it on the ocean today it looks interesting" Howard smirked

Dottie stood up from his lap and pulled him up m. He wrapped his arm around her waist pulling her closer to his side while they both made their way on his lab

"What do you think about L.A?" Howard suddenly asked Dottie "the weather is pretty nice and it seems amazing" she replied before chewing her food "let's move there" Howard smiled at her making Jarvis and Ana look at him with huge smile on their faces happy for the two of them. "Yeah sure why not" Dottie replied smiling widely thinking that maybe moving there can be the beginning of their fresh start

"We'll be leaving in three days so pack everything you'll bring. Pack both of your bags too" Howard pointed at Ana and Jarvis "splendid!" Jarvis cheered making Dottie and Ana laugh as they all continued to eat their dinner

Dottie woke up early in the morning and started cleaning the house while everyone else was still asleep. After she finsihed cleaning Howard's lab she sat down sighing with a smile on her face. Her eyes landed on a file in front of her on the table, she picked it up and saw S.H.I.E.L.D written on the front page of it

"Morning" Howard greeted kissing Dottie on her cheeks from behind "so SHIELD" she stated while reading the file on her hand after he sat down across from her "I'm glad you found the file. I was gonna ask you to run SHIELD with me" he answered looking at her "you know I'd love to but no but if I'mreally needed then give me a call" she replied smiling at him "why don't you ask Peggy though maybe she'll say yes" Dottie added making Howard smile "genius" Howard pointed at her making her laugh as he stood up from his seat and went inside to call Peggy

"So?" Dottie asked after Howard went back to her "she said yes and I told her that she should move to L.A too she said she'll think about it" Howard smiled widely making Dottie smile "you ready to leave your New York memories behind?" Howard asked hugging her from behind "no I don't think I will ever be able to" she responds smiling at him
