"A red gown would be perfect for them. What do you say Georgia?" Bella's cheerful voice hung in the air.
Georgia, a blonde woman with streaks of dyed electric blue hair looked at her client and smiled in approval.
"You know I was thinking different shades of red would be even more perfect."
"You mean like burgundy, maroon, terracotta and such shades?" Deirdre asked as Georgia nodded in approval at her choices.
Deirdre was the most talkative among the three friends followed by Esmeralda and Leah.
"I know that you three are gonna look beautiful in your gowns and- ah there we are."
Bella took an abrupt right turn making her passengers fall to the side.
Esmeralda brushed out a few strands of hair from her face and looked around. A few metres away was a beautiful bridal shop.
The entrance was beautifully adorned with flower pots and Esmeralda could make out the figures of mannequins wearing beautiful and elegant gowns.
The five of them got out and walked towards the shop. It was the first time Esmeralda and her friends had ever visited a bridal shop together.
The door opened to reveal a few members of the staff busy carrying dresses or writing down a few things in their registers.
The mannequins wore beautiful bridal dresses as well as dresses appropriate for bridesmaids. Those were what caught the girl's attention more than the glasses of champagne and light snacks present in one corner.
A particular velvet burgundy off-shoulder dress caught Esmeralda's attention.
"So girls, I don't know if any of you is gonna get married or not so enjoy your dress fitting as much as you can. Because this might be your first and last visit to a bridal shop. Have fun." Georgia said before walking away swaying her hips.
Esmeralda frowned at her strange behaviour but shrugged and walked towards the burgundy gown.
She held in between her index and middle finger and ran them down its length, feeling its softness. It was quite regal and unique in its own way and she liked the poise it held on the mannequin.
Esmeralda decided to wear it since no other dress caught her attention or looked as beautiful as this particular one did.
This was her second time attending a wedding. The first wedding that she attended was her parents'.
She was made the flower girl, carrying a basket adorned with ribbons and sprinkling flower petals. Although she didn't remember it all she sure saw how emotional her parents got and how amazing they both looked.
She went into the changing room and wore the gown. After examining herself in the mirror she became adamant about wearing that gown to the wedding.
Meanwhile, Leah and Deirdre were still trying to find the gowns for themselves. They couldn't find the perfect gowns.
Georgia walked up to them and patted their back. "I think that a maroon and crimson colour dress would be good for you two."
Leah and Deirdre looked at each other then at Esmeralda who was close to them and shrugged, proceeding to look for the dresses of the respective color.
After a few minutes of searching, they finally found the gowns perfect for themselves.
They decided that Leah would take the crimson dress and Deirdre would take the maroon one. They tried their dresses and they fit them and their personalities perfectly.
