ONE MONTH LATER

"Hey, Mama." Esmeralda jumped next to the kitchen counter.

"Hey, Tinker Bell." Estella looked at Esmeralda momentarily, before focusing on the cheese cube she was cutting.

"I know you have a date with Andres today, angel. Now go. You don't wanna keep a gentleman like him waiting. Real sweet, that boy is, I'm telling you."

When Esmeralda told her parents that the two were dating each other, Aldric broke out into cheers and Estella screamed like a mad woman and then calmly proceeded to give Andres a free coupon to her bakery as long as he dated her daughter.

Andres had replied by saying that in that case he was gonna get free bakery goods for the rest of his life.

Even though Esmeralda had forgiven Andres, her friends - Deirdre, Leah and Ray weren't happy with how he had treated her at first.

So they made him grovel and Esmeralda joined in too; purely for jokes.

His grovelling included carrying her on his shoulders to school every day, baking two batches of different flavoured cookies for her every day, getting on his knees for her publicly(which he enjoyed way too much) and singing their national anthem while standing on their cafeteria's table no matter how much red he turned.

But the joke was on them as he loved doing all of this for her. Carrying her on his shoulders while she giggled and laughed was pure joy to him, baking her cookies and watching the glee on her face melted his heart and getting on his knees was his favourite part.

When Esmeralda and her friends realised how much he enjoyed this, her friends asked her to not kiss Andres for a week and see how he acted.

While Esmeralda controlled her urge to kiss him, the same couldn't be said about Andres. Although he could hug her and hold her hand he couldn't kiss any part of her body for a week and that drove him crazy as fuck.

So he had resorted to kissing her photographs he took and her portraits he made. He even sent kiss emojis to her. Every time he wanted to kiss her he would bring his fingertips to his lips, kiss them gently and then press them against her lips.

A week later Esmeralda had asked him if he could survive another day without kissing just as a joke and Andres had burst into tears, mumbling about torture. But he managed to blubber between sobs and hiccups and had said that if that's what she wants she'll get it.

Esmeralda had immediately hugged him and kissed every inch of his face and quietened him down until he was reduced to a pouting, hiccuping, cute little mess.

He then proceeded to lay his head on her chest and fall asleep.

But he was put to a test when Esmeralda had taken him to meet some of her relatives and had asked him to control his temperament as she introduced him to them as her 'friend'.

He had absolutely no idea whether to scream at them that he was her boyfriend or kiss her in front of them. The only thing stopping him was Esmeralda threatening to punish him with silent treatment for twenty-four hours.

Deirdre had suggested to take him shopping with them and make him carry all their bags which he happily did.

She even suggested Esmeralda to test her newly-bought lipsticks' shades by applying it on her lips and then kissing every inch of Andres' face and neck with her coloured lips and then parading him all around the mall, thinking he would probably feel embarrassed and shy.

Her plan backfired terribly when he walked behind Esmeralda with the biggest shit-eating grin and proudly walked all around the mall.

They had to physically drag him out because he refused to leave the mall as he wasn't done showing-off his lipstick-stained face to the boys from his school. He even aggressively shoved his face into the faces of some boys who were interested in Esmeralda. But no amount of physical strength could help them drag him out. So Esmeralda had no choice but to drag him to an isolated corner while kissing him so as to distract him and then proceeded to use her transformer to teleport them outside.
