Chapter 32: Warning

"Sumubok ulit?" si Jenna.

Umiling ako at kumindat kasabay ng pagsayaw.

"Ey! Ey!" Vanessa and Belle chanted.

A new music dropped down and we all jumped to the beat, swaying out hips and flipping our hairs side to side. And then laughing at each other without saying any joke at all.

Naabutan kami ng dalawang remix na kanta bago kami nakapag-isip na huminto na at bumalik sa aming lamesa.

Kasama pa rin sa couch si Nathan, silent but engaging into the boys conversation. Elijah is drinking a beer and extended a hand at me. I accepted it as I seated beside him.

"Hmm, I want to dance with you. Damn. It's good that you're surrounded with your friends that's why guys can't approach you,'" bulong niya.

I can smell the reek of beer alcohol from his breath. Bumaba ang aking kamay sa kanyang kaliwang hita. He let out a hot breath near my ear and his left hand with around my stomach.

Ngumisi ako. "Can you dance?"

He chuckled huskily. "Of course, baby. Wanna see it?"

"Tsaka na kapag nasa bahay baka nasa sa'yo agad ang spotlight dito, e."

Humalakhak siya ng malamyos.

"Possessive wife, damn," malambing niyang mura.

Kumindat ako sa kanya tsaka humagikhik.

"Uy, iba talaga kapag in love tsaka asawa na!" biglaang singgit ni Heather. "Nakakakilig!"

I chuckled lightly and felt a bit of heating on my cheek.

"President ka na ng fan club ni Amber at Elijah, Heather." natatawang puna ni Belle.

Kumuha ng paper si Heather na pinapatungan ng ubos na na chips at bote na walang laman tsaka winagayway iyon sa itaas kasabay ng pagtayo niya. Natawa kami sa kanya dahil doon.

"Do you want to go shopping, baby?"

I am in the middle of cooking our breakfast when he asked that. Sandaling napaisip ako at nilagay ang nilutong adobong baboy sa lalagyan.

"I still have a lot of things, Eli. How about we go shopping for your stuffs?" sabi ko pabalik.

Umiling siya. "I wanna treat you something nice today."

My heart palpitate softly and excitedly. It melts for him all the time. Humarap ako sa kanya pagkatapos pinatay ang apoy ng stove.

"That's so sweet, Eli. Well, uh, we'll go shopping today, I want to buy you a pair of new sneakers. And then, we'll have a date in the amusement park." nakangisi kong sabi.

He smirked. "Yeah, that's great."

And as planned, after breakfast we went to shop shoes for him. Ang dami ko na kasing gamit and I want to buy something for him too. He doesn't like accessories but he wears nice shoes and clothes. He is a simple man that his aura and physique already speaks for himself.

Magaganda ang mga brand at disenyo ng mga bagong labas na sapatos. I brought four pairs for him. One boots for the province, two for casual use, one for work. And neckties. He has a lot of suits in the closet so I thought of buying neckties to match my formal dresses is fabulous.

"How about you?" aniya ng bumalik na kami sa kotse nuya.

Umiling ako at ngumiti ng malapad. "Today is your day, Eli."
