Chapter 40: Silent
"Less this, baby." aniya sabay turo ng lowered v-neck ng bridal gown.
Ngumuso ako. "But I want to have it laced."
"Yeah, but no cleavage please."
I smiled widely when his face turned sour.
"Amber wants me here," he replied to his Tita cooly.
He took Eren and they both went out from the shop.
Mama and Tito Kathryne sighed in relief.
We are currently in one of the known Filipino designer and usually the designer who makes fabulous dresses for the Buenavistas and the Figueroas.
Yeah. We'll have a public wedding. By what I mean of public, we invited lots of people. Our civil marriage is legal and now, to formally introduce myself as a Buenavista to the world, I will need to have a big wedding.
This is your wedding and money is not a question." banayad na sinabi ni Mama.
I don't know how wedding plans goes and it's making me nervous. I have researched about it but I'm sure it wasn't enough.
Napagdesisyunan namin ni Eli ang church wedding in a military style. It is our wedding and I want to include his vision on how our wedding goes.
I don't mind the wide spread of the bottom. And pearls. Mas maganda kung may naka-embroidered na pearls. What do you think po?" tanong ko sa designer.
Tumango siya na may ngiti sa labi. "We can make that happen. And we'll change the off-shoulder v-neck?"
"No. Just lift it a bit."
"And aa symbol of Buenavista?" he grinned.
"It's our family trademark, hija. A symbol of a Buenavista is something gold in the lady's wedding gown." paliwanag ni Mama. "But if you don't want to add gold then it's okay."
