I hate you

You're sat on your xbox playing a game just minding your own business. The bedroom door to yours and Jade's shared bedroom opens and Jade looks at you. You look at her and pause the game. You smile.

"I hate you." She says.

"Wow. Strong. What've i done?" You ask.

She launches a magazine at your face. You look at the front cover. It's a picture of a girl that looks like you from the side kissing another girl in a car.

"This is bulshit. I've been on bed rest for the past week and a half. How can i possibly kiss other girls if you wont even let me walk downstairs on my own. I cant even stand properly." You say.

"Stand up." She says.

You spend about 5 minutes trying to stand up. And even then, when you're holding onto a wall you can stand properly. You almost fall over 5 times. You sit back down after goin a little light headed.

"See? I wouldn't ever cheat on you. Just so you know that. You're my girl and i love you more than life itself. I've told you more times than i can count on my hands and feet that i would never cheat on you. The picture of the girl kissing that girl in the car has been edited horrifically to look like me. I mean first of all, i dont have a neck tattoo. My hair is much much shorter than that. My skin isn't as white as Casper the friendly ghost. And that girl in the car isn't even my type." You say.

"Oh yeah? What exactly is your type Y/n?" Jade asks.

"You. It always has been you." You say.

She feels tears forming in her eyes. You notice them. You open your arms and Jade walks over to you. She sits on your lap, wraps her legs around your waist and cries on your shoulder. You wrap your arms around her and just hold her while she cries. You manage to calm her down so she's just sniffles.

"You dont have to talk right now if you dont wanna and that's okay. I just need you to listen." You say.

She nods.

"I love you so much. I would never ever cheat on you. Seeing you upset like this hurts me. So can you even imagine what I'd be like if i did cheat on you? I would be the worst thing i could ever do to you and i would never do it. You are my girl. In actual fact, you're stuck with me." You say.

She laughs.

"I love you." You say.

"I love you too." Jade says.

She lifts her head off your shoulder and just looks at you. You wipe her tears off and smile.

"Much better. No time for tears." You say.

She laughs.

"You quoted our song." She says.

You gasp pretending to be shocked.

"Did i?"

She giggles and nods.

"Yeah."

"Well i never.... well i guess it's just natural at this point." You say.

She laughs. You both lay on the bed and watch a movie together. She winds up cuddled into you and fast asleep. You place a kiss on her forehead and just let yourself drift off go sleep.
